Man I don't know if I'd be able to handle working there and seeing it all the time. It'd be too much. I first visited with a friend in 2018 and we lost our minds when we first saw it. Every time I go back I send him a photo and say "Still there". Every single time.
Hell yeah, Kings Island is my home park and grew up in the park because my dad worked there from opening day until the 2000's. Stoked to see a new Coaster Idiots KI video on my birthday.
Heck yeah 3 seconds of fame from the Mystic photo booth! I guess sitting in the worst booth in the park for 6 hours wasn't so bad after all. Thank you, Ryan!
RMC Beast would be the best RMC. However, the Beast is the perfect blend of machine and nature already, a true masterpiece. 3D holograms look cool but would you turn the original Mona Lisa into a hologram projector? Please no RMC Beast, just let Gravity Group retrack it once every 15 years or so....
I agree with everything said, elitecoasters made a fantastic rmc beast concept and thats enough for me... then again i'm from the uk so Ohio is a pipedream and pov's are as close as I'll get anyway :D
@@HansenFamily1215 son of beast was a badly engineered coaster from the ground up. The wood wouldn’t be good to be used for the RMC conversion like most other coasters could be.
Invertigo (Face Off) was my first ever coaster. I was not tall enough, but they still let me on, didn't even notice. Was scared to death but fell in love with coasters.
KI is my home park. as such, I’ve seen the good days, and some of the bad days of Invertigo. My most recent rides in October of this year were forceful and smooth. I think Invertigo is one of the most underrated rides in the park.
You know how some people like to refer to that helix on Orion as Orion's belt? Well i just realized that for idiots like me (and Ryan) who like to call the ride "onion", that helix becomes the onion ring 🤣🤣🤣
I met my favorite Idiot! I ran into Uncle Nate in line for The Beast yesterday. We share a love for Shivering Timbers and a birthday so I thought is was cool that we met, and extra cool that it happened at Beast. Even though Uncle Nate would eagerly hand Beast over to RMC, it was the ride that made me love coasters!
My dad got to ride the Beast in 1979 when it opened, he was 12 years old. It was so awesome to get to ride it with him a few times. I'd absolutely LOVE an RMC treatment on Beast, but only when it just can't survive as it is now. Once it's run it's course as a wooden, maybe RMC will bless us with the longest Hybrid in the world. I also got to ride Banshee the year it opened. Probably my favorite suspended coaster of all time. It's so smooth, and it just doesn't stop at all with its layout. What a wonderful coaster
I rode The Beast for the first time this October. It absolutely DOES NOT need the RMC treatment. It's one of the few woodies my body can tolerate and it is such a good ride as is.
I rode Canymonium, both sides of Lightning Racer, Fahrenheit, Wild Mouse, and Trailblazer in my kilt during HP in the Dark. I wanted to ride my kilt on a coaster at some point, but Sarah Nicole Anderson forced my hand
My last ride of the season on Invertigo, I had sunglasses on a strap and they were in my mouth when I pulled back in the station. Still will go back tho.
I actually did find invertigo to be really smooth when I rode it in 2020, but maybe it had a weirdly rough 2021 or my perception was skewed after having Goliath (New England) at my home park for so long
If I only have Saturday and next day Sunday to go to Kings Island and Kennywood this weekend, which park which day?? Not sure of the crowd levels at each park on weekends at the end of June
RMC The Beast? I've been in fights for a lot less. Furreal though, I get the temptation. RMC are at God King level for Coasters, I've only rode one and it's of the best coasters I've ever been on (Storm Chaser). Imagine what they could do with that terrain, length, and with two lifts? If the whole wooden launch coaster thing worked out it could have been insane. The Beast is church though. It's in the same class that the Coney Island Cyclone is. I've ridden many coasters that outdo it in terms of layout, forces, definitely airtime, and so forth; but flying through the woods on that thing at night is just f'n unreal. You can't beat the atmosphere. It is a shame that they tore down Son of Beast when they did, imagine an RMC version of that? Granted, they probably wouldn't have been able to use any of it. Also, despite my whole coaster preservation attitude with the Beast, I'd actually be game for an RMC Racer if they could work out the kinks from Twisted Colossus. And Mystic Timbers is the best ride in the park.
Which of these coasters do YOU think ought to be RMCd; Coaster at Playland in Vancouver B.C. Canada or The Beast at Kings' Island Ohio U.S.A.? BTW the best coaster @ K.I. is Diamondback, even if it has a rattle. It might not be as good as Behemoth, but that's in another park so it doesn't count.
I went on the Saturday before Halloween and no one had fast lane plus so we walk on every ride until the haunt and even during the haunt it was like 5 minute wait. It was not even that crowded until the haunt, is that weird?
I’ve only been to Kings Island once in high school and I basically only remember going on face off. I might have to talk my husband into turning our CP gold passes into platinum so I can go back after over 12 years. 🤔🤔🤔
lol i hit my hand on the helix tunnel last time i rode the beast and got a big ass splinter in it, so now i have a beast souvenir, need to cast it in resin or something to save it forever
I went to Kings Island for their Christmas event last month. After years of seeing it on the Brady Bunch, I think I have it better now than back then... also, FoF is like in my top 10. Don't understand why you guys hate it so much.
The Beast is ICONIC. People will riot if they touch it, me included. Once I finally was brave enough to ride it, I knew I could ride any coaster in the world.
What day did y’all go 10/31/21? I remember going on mystic and seeing someone with a mean streak shirt. Sad that no one rides adventure express anymore. Y’all would’ve seen the epic rant of the adventure express queen.
Ryan, you need to flex some of that 'coaster celebrity' status & get ride ops to blast Lamb Of God through the speakers, see how many other riders watch your channel! 😎🤘
Thanks for riding Invertigo that day! I was the ride op checking your restraints!!!
Suh dude! it was great meeting you!
4:47. This is just me every time I visit. EVERY TIME. THAT VISUAL NEVER GETS OLD.
I literally work there and EVERY TIME i crack up

Dan always seems to be annoyed about something at the beginning of the vlogs, but he once gets hydrated he seems to lighten up quick 😂
Hahaha that’s good old Dan for you

@Chris Campbell dude no way. KI is my home park AND my b-day is tomorrow! Wish u a happy birthday my friend!
happy birthday mang!!
Happy birthday!
Lol yes on the Lost plane crash, I laughed so hard when the first image of the Federal Image getting hit in the head with the suitcase popped up
9:54 I like how Uncle Nate also brings a pair of clear pit vipers for evening 😎
Best thing i used to do with my friends, go on in vertigo and play Rock Paper Scissors while on ride since the seats face each other.
I did that on Two Face at SFA when I was 7.
2:10-2:15 best coaster idiots moment. I was dying
The Napoleon Dynamite reference with the tots had me dead LMAO.
One of the best videos
Beavis and butt head in the shed had me in tears

I’m totally riding this for my next visit

Guess Ryan will be disappointed if Gravity Group makes The Beast too smooth next season.
They didn’t do a full retrack so the beast will still have its ruff but fun moments
honestly? yeah
The new track just means it should run faster from a better conservation of momentum.
I’m glad that most crews give Ryan a hard time at kings island
As a Kings Islander Banshee has never had above a 30 minute wait for me even during Haunt and the Weekends
Invertigo (face/off) made me an enthusiast in 2002. My first coaster 😍😍😍
Loved the Napoleon Dynamite reference with the tots in the pockets
the beavis butthead mystic shed was so good!!!
Nothing better than a coaster idiots video! Glad to see it back .Keep it going!!

I gotta say...your love for both the old(B&BH) and new(SB) makes me want to ask soo many questions. But I love it!
You know how some people like to refer to that helix on Orion as Orion's belt? Well i just realized that for idiots like me (and Ryan) who like to call the ride "onion", that helix becomes the onion ring 🤣🤣🤣

Steph is adorable and I love her.
You say we learned nothing in this vid; I guess you gotta bring back Useless Coaster Trivia with McLovin.
It was totally awesome seeing u that night. I’m at 10:01 wearing the black Toro sweatshirt and it was funny that you called it ugly 😂 😂.
Rode Orion front row at night this past weekend. AMAZING!!!
I rode The Beast for the first time this October. It absolutely DOES NOT need the RMC treatment. It's one of the few woodies my body can tolerate and it is such a good ride as is.
GOAT of all Kings Island vids.
Invertigo is the best coaster ever, and skull mountain is number 2
this is big facts. you speak only the truth and nothing but the truth
LOL, you picked the best Beavis and butthead clip possible i think, well done
Not uncle Nate with the Sean Kaufman reference
Did I see Uncle Nate at Silver Dollar City riding the back row on Outlaw Run yesterday?
Yup he was there!
Invertigo is definitely glass smooth...
broken glass smooth
Mystic was insane went I went a few months back
Honestly I'm not surprised if they actually went just for Invertigo, that is truly one of the most underated coasters out there.
It’s an awful coaster I do not recommend lol but hey I respect your opinion

That bridge sounded like a screaming goat
Uncle Nate should eat dirt
Would be kinda interesting to see what rmc did with that long of a ride though ngl
the BEAST was rough as hell already mid 80's, can only imagine before GG retracked....
brooo your rough ride footage is always soooooo epic!! I laugh so hard every time haha
Uncle nate should in fact: Eat Dirt
We all know the real reason why Uncle Nate prefers Woodstock Express over Invertigo.... 👀
I actually did find invertigo to be really smooth when I rode it in 2020, but maybe it had a weirdly rough 2021 or my perception was skewed after having Goliath (New England) at my home park for so long
I rode invertigo this year and can confirm it was horribly rough. Terrible even by SLC standards.
It’s really rough in 2022
Omg its steph i love her

that moment when El Toro Ryan opens his video going right past the exit to my house on the PA Turnpike

damn i was working flight of fear that day! but i don’t blame you for not waiting in that line, even with fast lane it was probably still an hour
