- That actor Steven Yeun’s parents took the show a little bit too seriously after watching it? Steven Yeun, who plays the character of Glen Rhee, is one of The Walking Dead’s most loveable characters. It’s natural for parents of actors to pay a keen interest in following their children’s careers and Yeun’s parents, who are based in Korea, are no different. However, Yeun has revealed that his parents’ grasp of English isn’t great, so they had to watch a bootlegged version of the show which which was accompanied by Korean subtitles. Yeun’s father even took some elements of the show very seriously indeed, and asked his son to thank Melissa McBride, who plays Carol Peletier, for saving his son’s life. Even though Yeun reminded his father that the show is completely fictional, his father still insisted, and Yeun personally thanked McBride on behalf of his father. Yeun’s father even thought his son was acting in adult films before his son persuaded him that his acting career was concentrated in a different field.

Hey do they usually do flashback scenes with dead characters like a couple months after their gone from set or something? Or do they just film the rest right after?
@@coffinboy556 sometimes they film them before if the persons contract is coming to an end (basically stock footage) or they make a small contract so the person can come back and film the scenes, it depends if the studio has a linear timeline or they’ve written the stuff before the actors contract ends (or if they add new stuff) they just ask them to come back. I don’t really remember the name but there was a series that wasn’t very popular in the early seasons and near the end of the show, it got very popular so they renew for another season one of the early characters actors had to come back for a flashback, and the dude wasn’t well off financially at the time and the paycheck the studio gave him for coming back basically helped him pay some loans he had (i think he recorded like 3 hours of footage)
