Serious Christians, evangelical or not, should make it part of their lives learning from our Jewish heritage. Yes, we disagree on whether the messiah has come. But Judao Christianity, that takes seriously the teachings from both the Old Testament & the New Testament about Placing Yahweh 1st, taking our faith seriously to learn from it, esteeming others more importantly than ourselves not amassing wealth & control just for ourselves but for how we could help others, helping the weak & the poor, lifting them up, not being self absorbed with ourselves, treating others as you would have them treat you These are the great social aspects of Judeo-Christianity .But they come 2nd to placing Our Messiah who is God first and as christians placing christ at the center of our lives.. these basic principles have been the greatest force for good In social
