The most amazing thing is I watch this show now, and it doesn't "feel" like Gucci or "right" for the brand. Michele's vision was so absolute and overpowering that I can't imagine the brand going back to this form.
Well Michelle visions is far away from sexy looking which gucci represented from mid 90s through 2000s. I dont like a new Gucci direction, its so generic like most of the brands nowadays (Balenciaga, LV, Gucci etc.)...Gucci always was about sex and glamour
Michelle has a niche and it is shock factor with decent clothes. Frida wasn’t perfect but her clothes models and productions were the complete package.
Some of these clothes are seriously unflattering and the styling is often to blame. Some of them are very beautiful. There seems to be an editing issue in this collection. At times this says Versace more than gucci. . 12:26
Definitely I love when high fashion is “ready to wear”. I respected the runway shows where the models wore a whole bunch of random things but it really was bad advertising. Without photos you couldn’t decipher the outfit because of so many clashing prices.
