    There is a toilet and a info kiosk in the starter buildings. Hence why nobody was complaining 😃

    The highway really brings the world to life. I would love to see more of the real world outside of park limits. For example, Happy Co. Harbor having cargo arrive and go out. Or a functioning town near the park. It’s so cool to think of your park being a small oasis of entertainment in a big, busy world. I’m all caught up on every episode. Thanks for the entertainment and inspiration. 🥰

    I actually really love the single-rail coasters. They're sleek, fit in small spaces, have excellent stat ratios, and most notably are EXTREMELY cheap (almost 1/2 the cost of a floorless coaster of similar height and design) their primary downside being throughput, which can be minimized with good blocking and lots of trains.

    • @Saltine3022
      @Saltine3022 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      they can also be launched, which can further cut down on footprint and cheapen their cost.

    From en.wikipedia.org/wiki/hip_roof : "Another variation is the gablet (UK terminology) or Dutch gable roof (U.S. and Australasian terminology), which has a hip with a small gable (the gablet) above it. This type simplifies the construction of the roof; no girder trusses are required, but it still has level walls and consistent eaves."

    Excellent park as usual, I especially enjoyed the food court and the surrounding area with the flat rides and how you incorporated the small lake. The entire layout looks very organic to me and I genuinely looks like a mix of a number memories I have from theme parks I visited as a kid.

    I would say that the lore of this park is that an old Arrow double corkscrew was removed and replaced by this modern raptor. This would also kind of explain the station being old fashioned looking as the station could've been re-used and retrofitted for the new ride. The blueprint of the ride definitely could support an arrow (aside from the cobra roll section which was probably unused land before or had an old run down flat ride there). I agree about old timer car rides being a relaxing ride between coasters but generally I prefer to go on water rides for that *hint hint*.

    It's such a disgrace that the spawners for the vehicle are not available to players but are restricted to developers. They mentioned about them possibly being made available to everyone, but nothing was ever done about it.

    • @Codraroll
      @Codraroll 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The fun part is that it could probably be used to spawn any sort of item, and send it flying across the map at a set speed. You could have water towers or trees sailing across your park if you wanted.

  • @c0wg0d
    @c0wg0d 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I was a little bummed that you didn't build a transport ride to go across the highway, but it would have been difficult to fit it in. Still, I only recall you building one so far and it wasn't even a loop. I hope to see a looping train ride in one of these parks. Thanks for continuing this series--it makes me so happy every time a new one comes out!

    I love watching how you complete these scenarios! Keep up the amazing work!
    On the topic of increasing the Monorail Coaster's throughput, I usually try to cram 2 block sections on the brake run - the final brake run itself, then a turn/straight bit and another block section is what I typically will use. Even without the blessing of a high throughput, I've found that the Monorail Coaster is one of the best coaster models in the game! It is very easy to get a Very high/Extreme excitement rating with, can fit into extremely compact spaces and it's a very cheap coaster compared to the other options easiest to get Very high/Extreme excitement ratings on (Hydraulic Launch Coaster, Vertical Drop Coaster, Floorless Coaster - and sometimes Wing Coaster - are the other four that I've found easy to get a great Excitement rating on. No wonder the RMC Raptor model is probably going to spread like wildfire in real life.

    This scenario reminds me of Kentucky Kingdom. As the name suggests, it is an amusement park in Kentucky (Louisville, to be exact). Went there with my dad a year ago and it was quite fun. The water park was well done, there was a good variety of rides, Storm Chaser and Lightning Rod are gems of coasters...
    Excuse me, I seem to be getting off track. Point is, the main reason why this came to mind is that, like this scenario, there is a road that essentially cuts the park in half. Also, the terrain I guess could be described as "flat" in that particular area.

    Silv, I’ve been watching you since your RCT3 Morgan Hyper video came out! and your vids are so fun to watch and your pseudo-realistic approach to these campaigns is so interesting! Especially how you incorporate realistic features and facts into your parks. Based on this, have you ever thought of going thru the standard campaigns of RCT1, 2, & 3? I think it’d be a nice trip down memory lane for you and all of us fans! Who doesn’t love the nostalgia of the “old games”?

  • @BannedFromTheaters
    @BannedFromTheaters 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Seeing your park made me realize how inefficient I made mine. Yikes, haha. Your build looks awesome though! :D EDIT: When it comes to employee paths what I've noticed is that they give slightly bad ratings (though not as bad as the buildings) but blocking them does improve the rating!

  • @coreyreynolds01
    @coreyreynolds01 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I believe it's been said before by the devs, not totally sure though, but the general consensus is that each height marker is 10 ft. So a Hyper coaster would need to be 20+ and a Giga 30+ in game. That seems to pan out with the overall height limit of those rides as well. The 10 ft. height also would make some sense when you look at the building pieces. A wall is 1 unit high. And an IRL building unit of height is a "story" and that's roughly 10 ft. tall.

  • @TheFunfighter
    @TheFunfighter 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    The clown horn got me :) Also your monorail coaster has a pretty good timing. I just liked it better in the deep blue. Might make my own next coaster that color.
    Employee paths are highly hazardous to your scenery rating. I used these to reach the lowest possible scenery rating when testing coasters for their deco affinity.
    I dislike Gigacoasters as well. Building high costs insane amounts of money, and I don't even get much higher ratings out of these than for other types.

  • @johnytest464
    @johnytest464 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I must say I like this series a lot, as it is rare to find a quality coaster park simulator or a city building game l.p. in which the author both tries to make it look beautifull and plays to make it work with the economy and/or needs turned on. Usually what happens is that it is either full on beauty mode with infinite money and complete disregard for other game mechanics, or just economy mode and the build looks like crap. Would love to see more series like this, maybe a Cities Skylines one?
    Also, it would be great if you'd show the stats of your rides at the end of the vid, to let us see how they present in numbers, with all the foliage added and after all the tweaks etc..

    The roller coaster the Giga Coaster's most based on is Intimidator 305 since it's track and default colors are the same. I did see a little bit of I305 influence in your one, like the drop into a massive turn. Hopefully this one won't make you black out, though.

  • @marcustulliuscicero5443
    @marcustulliuscicero5443 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Concerning the Giga Coaster, if you want to build a more modern one like Hyperion or a Mack Hyper, use the Hydraulically Launched Coaster instead. It allows for inversions and has a track design that is more similar to that of the Giga, which uses the double-spined design that's only found on coasters that put the track under high stress *cough* I305 *cough*.
    And while the HLC is slightly more expensive than the Giga, it also has slightly better stats. Unfortunately, the Hyper Coaster still beats both of them handily.

    I'm not sure where the "Dutch gable" nomenclature comes from. The reference texts I've consulted define "Dutch gable" as (e.g.) a "[t]all gable with sweeping curved sides, often ogees with volutes, crowned by a triangular pediment" (Curl, 2006)-i.e. the type seen in a stereotypically Dutch façade-and call the type of roof you're talking about a "gablet".
    Wikipedia claims that North America and Australasia use "Dutch gable" to refer to a gablet roof, but provides no source, so that seems to be a dead-end.

    So the only thing that really bugs me (the rest is awesome, don't get me wrong!) is that the Oldtimers attraction runs next to a very loud highway and underneath a loud coaster. Not very relaxing imo.

    This is just an idea, but you could have used a launch coaster or something beside the highway so those on the ride can compare their speed with the vehicles
