Pretty impressive in both small and large scale. There's been a lot of discussion about the hockey mask and it's color for quite a while. The masked used in the film is said to have been clear vacuum formed plastic and then spray painted white on the underside, while keeping the outside of the mask still glossy. Others have said it was a varnish that had a yellowish tint (it's hard to tell due to the lighting in a lot of the scenes that the mask is featured). Your ivory color choice is pretty good. Others who have done replicas of the hockey mask have also suggested using almond or an antique white coloring, so if you ever decide to do a second full-scale replica, you can experiment with those colors if you like. :D
Thank you for that context! I never knew here was debate around the color but can totally see why since it’s such a famous costume piece. A full costume would be so much fun to make!
@@TheSquaretoSpare You're welcome. :D The easiest of the costumes to make for Jason are probably Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4. Part 6 on forward is probably the hardest, as they require a lot more detailing (since Jason goes from being a regular human to being a supernatural zombie). I didn't mention Part 5 because of the twist on that one (don't want to spoil it if you haven't seen it). So, if you're planning on doing a costume to wear, the second through fourth films would probably be the easiest for anyone.
That is interesting. Have you seen any of The Merkins' parody videos? The Slashstreet Boys? I'll have to go back and see what color mask they used for their Jason.

Nice! I did one just like the life size mask. Exact one you used too. I was gonna change the strap to a leather one with an old belt but i got lazy! I wouldnt attempt the little one though! Nice work!😊😁
