Do You Wanna Build a Snowman ? - COMPLETE SNOWFUR & BLUESTAR MAP

- This MAP contains spoilers for Bluestar's prophecy and includes cat's death, though there is no gore or any blood.
Maphaton this map was part of : • NEW YEAR’S MAPATHON
Bluepaw was devasted when her mother, Moonflower, died. Snowpaw recovered faster, and while she was just able to recover at her turn, Bluefur had to deal with Snowfur's death. Then her daughter's, Mosskit. After seasons of leading Thunderclan, Bluestar requestions her choices, and during all this time, Snowfur was still here, only wanting to spend some time with her dear sister.
This MAP focuses on Bluestar's losses and grief, and how Snowfur had always been more fast to turn the page over her own sadness. Everyone deals with their own emotions and choices the way they can, and at the speed they're able to move forward.
WOAW, this MAP has been in the process for 4 years now, and was hosted on my former channel... Finally it's complete, and I'm actually really proud of it and the animators! Everyone did a wonderful job, and I can't thank everyone enough for their patience, motivation and passion in this project (some people even taking multiple parts!).

I want to add a sidenote about Artblock Studio's PMV ! I am aware that their PMV does exist with the exact same song, characters, and subject. Both of our projects are different, and none of us copied each on another, or even could have copied each other. The reason is simply that my MAP was hosted in 2018 (proof here of the original video on my old channel : • ON HOLD . I later unlisted the map call for a long time since the MAP was on hold, and the map was already unlisted for quite a few time when Artblock Studio released their video, by Christmas 2020.
So please, do not harass any of us, we just had the same idea!

I feel like the Frozen soundtrack fits these sisters so well, with Bluestar being Elsa and Snowfur being Anna. This map perfectly displays their relationship and it's beautiful

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT MAP!!! The song perfectly suits Bluestar and Snowfur's relationship and every single animator did a fantastic job. I also really loved the designs and the post-credit scene is super sweet

Never in a million years would I think there would be a M.A.P using do yourself wanna build A snowman but im here for it!
im late to rhe party but this was SO SWEET TO WATCH! The animation was amazing and this song fits so perfectly with the events/relationship between bluestar and snowfur! the emotion was amazing, the ending with the ghost of snowfur visiting bluestar just really broke my heart. beautiful map!!
You only really notice how much pain Blue’star went through until you hear this song and see the animations
God the amount of times I cried during this book, I outright sobbed until I fell asleep, during the night when I was reading this book. Thank you for an incredible animation that perfectly captures the feeling of Bluestar’s struggles as she lived her life!

This was absolutely beautiful, I cried cause of the fact that snowfur was my first favorite cat from the series even though I never read it until like 2 years later and shes still at the top 😭

That was so good omg!! Everything is so smooth and all the styles look great! I love the designs and also the shading everyone did! The voices fit perfectly and this map’s emotions touched me.

Is there a discord I can join so I can help with future MAPs, PMVs, etc? I've always wanted to help with these types of things, and i think it would be a great opportunity to share my art
Hi! Those are usually called M.A.P (standing for Multi Animator Project)
You can find MAP calls all over youtube on different themes! OC's (original characters), Warrior Cats, Wing of Fire and way wayyy more
They each have a set of rules in the description, and often also a script, set designs, sometimes even a palette or a storyboard already
There is not one discord to join as there is many map's hosted by many different people, but I highly advice you give a watch to Northflowo's video called "Do's and don'ts of joining MAPs"
It gives already a clear idea on where to start with this since I know it can all be an overwhelming amount of information!
Anyways I hope you will be able to join one and that you will have fun within the community
