Love watching you and other designers/artists making it all seem so easy. It’s a bit frustrating, as a former cgi artist, I now have Parkinson’s and even brushing teeth takes forever.

Excellent tutorial. Lovely effect! For future reference you can select “cut & paste” as a single option. :)

ahhhh i appreciate the kind words :D glad you enjoyed it

I liked the idea of broken text, but you can do it easier way, instead of creating the two red shapes you can just duplicate the text layer and cut the words with freeline selection then you can duplicate each word and give the lower layers black color and gaussian blur to make the shadow. but thank you it's so nice !

You know what ? I was trying to do it my way and it’s possible but I’m wrong yours easier and faster than mine 🙁 sorry

I was wondering if you could (when needed) add the hex color codes in the description of your tutorials ? I know you add the files on your google drive but if you wouldn't mind also adding the color codes in the description (such as the tutorial I really loved called Hot Air Balloon) 🙂

How do you do something similar with images?

    • @JoelCreate

Exactly the same process would work ☺️

FYI : It's not "LEEDING", it's "LEADING", as in the metal, lead...from back in traditional print days when type-faces were made in the (metal) lead & separated by slivers of (the metal) lead... adding or removing such slivers would change the distance between letters.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but Procreate keeps telling me that the layer is hidden and asks if I want to show layer. It won't let me do much after rasterizing the text layer.

    JOEL, I’M STUUUCK.
AFTER HITTING THE ADD TXT, MY KEYBOARD DOESN’T COME UP
& WHEN I HIT THE KEYBOARD ICON AT THE BOTTOM IT ONLY BRINGS
    UP THE LITTLE K/BOARD.
PLUS, WHEN I CLICK FOR THE TXT TO BE RASTERISED I DONT GET ANY WAVY LINES
OR ANYTHING & I CANT FIGURE WHERE I’M GOING WRONG.
    I’VE TRIED 3X & IT’S THE SAME EVERY TIME. I’M SO FRUSTRATED.
    SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

    • @JoelCreate
      @JoelCreate  ปีที่แล้ว

The keyboard isnt an issue it typically shows the full one if you use your finger or a smaller one if you tap it with your pen, the keyboard size isnt critical to the tutorial
im not sure what you mean wavy lines there shouldn't be any?

Leading is pronounced “Ledding”. On old fashioned printing presses they used to use bars of lead to space out the sentences. Not so interesting fact of the day!
