Verse 9 "Thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst multiply thy perfumes"
"The king" is quite a prophetic expression. Our readers should be aware that there are at least 3 times that utterance. The king is never named by the prophetic Spirit. It is to be understood by the godly residue. As they go through the great tribulation (Jacob's trouble) they will be spiritually alerted to recognize this false king.
The same principal of spiritual discernment will be true to identify 666 or the sum of the numbers. Unfortunately, Christendom has been led through a panoply of speculation which brings nothing to understanding the mind of God. The remnant will be taught by the wise (Daniel11:33 , maschill, maschilim meaning wise or instruction , see Psalms heading of 32,42,44,45,)
Daniel 12:3 reads "And they that are wise*** shall shine as the brightness of the expanse; and they that turn the many (the godly Jews) to righteousness ..."
*** The Darby literal translation has a note for "the wise" ...Maschilim
The sum of what I try to communicate is that during Jacob's trouble, Maschilim, wise men will be raised to help the poor of the flock. The Holy Spirit sees therefore no need to name the Antichrist, these wise will know!
Here are the two other places where there is no spiritual need to identify the antichrist or king.
Daniel 11:36 "And the king shall do according to his will" ( this king is not the king of the North as some suggest but the false king of Israel)
Isaiah 30:32 " For the king also it is prepared " that is Topheth, the fire or breath of Jehovah is prepared for the judgment of the Assyrian (31). ALSO prepared for the king unamed: the Antichrist.
The third mention is in 57:9 as rightly mentioned by brother Reynolds. Trust this is of help?

Sorry, small error " the many" is not to be identified with the godly Jews but to the mass of Jews. See Daniel 9:27 " And he ( Roman prince to come under revived Roman empire) shall confirm a covenant with THE MANY... " "The many" is an expression to describe the ungodly Jews who will sign via the king (Antichrist) the agreement to have the revived Empire protect them.
Again we get the same expression in Daniel 11:39 "And he ( false king in Israel, Antichrist)
shall call them to rule over the many ( the apostate Jews) and and shall divide the land to them for a reward." The many are rewarded for helping him, the false King or self willed King ( 11:36)
