I love Sarina Koga and I feel so sad her team did not do well in the Paris Olympics '24. But it wasn't her fault. Even though she's retired, but I hope she changes her mind and makes a comeback. She is so young and has so many more good years left to play at the highest level. And there will be another Olympics in 4 short years. She deserves an Olympic medal!!

I think wada deserved the highlight more. She was the problem that brazil could not solve. Koga played well defensively but her attack efficiency suffered a lot as she kept on getting dug or blocked. There were many moments in the match where japan could have pulled away with a break point but couldnt because sarina's attacks kept on getting dug, sometimes twice or thrice in a row. Nevertheless i still support team japan and both players are amazing, punching way above their weight ( and height!) that the commentators could not help but wonder - how could such small players just over 1.7m tall bring so much fire power???
