Half Day Float Trip from Glen Canyon Dam to Lee's Ferry with Wilderness River Adventures
Hey All! Ahhhh, what a lovely way to see the bottom of the Grand Canyon area. In this video, my friend Alice and I return to Paige AZ for another day of exploring all that the South Rim of the Grand Canyon has to offer. This rafting excursion started in Paige and took us to the Glen Canyon Recreation Area, where we floated through some of the most gorgeous scenery, ending up in Lee’s Ferry and then shuttled back to Paige. Now, I’ve done float trips before and this one did not disappoint! I will also share some basic Grand Canyon Geology that I picked up about this specific area, which I found only added to the experience. Be sure to watch until the end so you won’t miss any of the little surprises along the way. I hope this trip will add a little peace and some beauty to your day!

😂😂😂😂😂😂 i’m so glad you were able to experience that here’s a little history. My grandfather started that company yes, he was one of the first River runners down the Grand Canyon and the Glen Canyon with down with Georgie white and Doc Murdoch start a commercial River Running down the Grand Canyon. I did thousands of trips down there and met thousands of people between my grandfather my dad and me like I said I’m so glad you were able to experience that. it’s nice to see a little bit home ok 👌🏼🔥🤠🔥camping Russ out

@@RoamTownGirl the Yakima river you can do a 3 hour or a 6 hour float. Just lay in the raft with beer cooler in tow😁

Thanks for the video. It looked beautiful. 6 hrs? Where did you stop to use the bathroom? Did that include lunch? I wouldn't be able to leave my dog in my camper for that long.

There are really nice porta potties along the route for people who camp in the area. We stopped about midway and were able to use them. As for lunch, it's not included, so people brought lunch in their own small coolers. And, of course I had my pups boarded at the rv resort's kennel because it was a long day away from them😉
