I love that you don't just introduce us to your plants but to individual leaves too. This one is the latest leaf, that one has different variagations, the other didn't take well to neem oil. I do that too. My poor husband tries his best to look interested. 😂

The orchid on the end of the flower spike is called a keiki, and it means your orchid was happy enough to make a baby ☺

Your Tradescantia will go dormant during the winter. I just let mine dry out and water very sparingly in the winter. In the spring cut off the splenly vines and leave about 3 inches long and put out in the sun and water. It will go crazy. They love the sun and will not get thick stems or color up if not in the morning sun at least. On your Epiphyllum it will need bright light and bloom fertilizer for flower. It really loves bright filtered light and soil like a succulent plant.

At the end of your flower Spike that's a keiki which is Hawaiian for baby. It might mean that your orchid is worried about continuing on so it's trying to make a baby so it's genes live on so to speak. With phalaenopsis orchids some people take it off because they think it may Rob the plant because too much in the way of nutrients is going to the baby. I know it's a rule of three I think before you take the baby off of phalaenopsis orchid. Meaning three leaves three roots and they would be aerial roots and 3 inches. So I guess the rule of three still goes except for the fact that it couldn't ever reach 3 in when that's the size of the parent plant. I started a TH-cam channel so that I can keep track of my orchids and share them with a friend on TH-cam who had a channel named Carolyn her husband's name Jack so they combine the names for her channels name and it's j a c o l y n s orchids. She lives in Salmon Arm Canada and she's a delightful lady. She taught me how to care for my orchids but hers are 99% phalaenopsis as are mine. I now have over 30 orchids due to her Gardens. If you'd like to see my orchids just go to TH-cam and put my name in the world orchids into the search engine and you'll see my duties and all their Glory last year. I'm waiting for the show to start this year. I love your station I've missed the past couple videos so I'm trying to catch up! I love the fact you've kept your caladium alive and I'm going to have to check out your care video I let all of mine go dormant. I don't have room to take care of them in the proper light. I have gotten too many plants over the summer due to how beautiful your garden outside was teehee. I bought two big allocations a big Rojo Congo it got huge 3 monstera plants two huge split leaf philodendrons a smaller split leaf philodendron none of them were marked and a variety of colocasia black Ripple, tropical storm, and a few others. I also bought a banana tree and 4 Canna. The Royal Shield alocasia I have four or five babies that are 2 to 3 feet high now and planted in separate pots. In addition to all this I have a coleus collection and I'm trying to keep some unusual coleus alive in water because I grew them from seed which is quite easy. I had maybe three mother plants last year and now I probably have six that I've got to keep alive. My sliding glass doors to the patio are one big wall of plants. My 5 gardenia trees are still in the garage and I've got to get them in the house but the garage has been kind of steady in the 50s but that's not going to last. You are an inspiration to me

Your begonia will absolutely love being in your kitchen window. And you're right about plants an animal's because the cat a timer to got a hold of my begonias and chewed but I didn't notice anything wrong. I keep it away from her and next to where she Lays watching her Outdoors I have coleus around her because she doesn't bother them. I know there are member of the of the mint family because of their Square stems at least that's what I read.

About your pink princess. If you go to Gabriella Facebook page maybe or TH-cam channel he does a video on the care of pink princess. And I believe what he said is if it starts to lose its variegation you need to cut the top off above the variegated leaf and then maybe it will come back and start to throw out pink variegation again. It's a beautiful plant the way it is but it might be worth a try and then you'd have what you cut off rooted as another

I had trouble with my first calatheas the pinstriped one I can't remember the proper name. At first I didn't have trouble because I had the humidity up to about 60% and it was very happy. But unfortunately I didn't realize how much water it needed and didn't want to dry out. I tend to be the kind to gets around to water and whenever my plants are dry as a bone so to speak. I solved that problem by buying one of those glass globes with the stem you fill up with water and put into the pot and it was fine until the glass globe ran out of water and I lost a couple more leaves. I bought a medallion calathea and put a globe in it spot right away and I've had it I'd say at least three months and it hasn't lost a leaf or gotten a brown tip. So my suggestion for calatheas is buy those! Glass watering tubes

After the flowers there should be from what I've read not from experience little beads that form and if you plant the they will grow a new play it. I paid $21 along with shipping to buy a tiny little regular string of hearts and it appears that there were maybe three little of those beads put in this little one inch pot. But I don't water it very often and it is getting lots and lots of new growth. Some people refer to that plant as the rosary Vine because of all the beads that grow down a long with the leaves after it flowers. Out of all the plants that you've shown the one that I like the best is your string of hearts

    Hi Hannah,
Great video as per usual and always the highlight of my week to see your collection. Your choice of your favourite top ten is a great selection of beautiful plants and really enjoyed getting a little insight into what your current favourites are. Your plants are always so healthy and well looked after. Was a bit surprised that your Melanochrysum didnt reach your top 10 but personal preferences are what make us individual. Not surprising to see you start with the caladium and for obvious reasons, mine is still going strong also and my White Christmas still has 1 leaf hanging on for dear life. I almost want them to go to sleep now so that they get a good rest 😂😂. The Alocasia Cuprea is also one of my absolute favourites and is one I could never get bored of admiring. Thanks for the upload and look forward to seeing what you have planned for next week. 😁😁😁

Wow Hannah, so many beautiful ones on your top 10, I would have a hard time settling on which ten, but the Alocasia Cuprea is one of my favorites, as well as the Philodendron Pink Princess. The variegated string of hearts is on my wish list, and my regular string of hearts is tiny but growing pretty darn good for just growing from cuttings. Your Syngonium Pink Splash is amazing. I'm on the look out for the Syngonium Confetti, my daughter got one, but I don't know if it's still alive, she said since winter hit some of her plants are dropping like flies, oh dear! Thank you again Hannah, I just always enjoy seeing all of your plants, you have so many beautiful ones so I can see how your list changes all the time. I hope you have a great weekend and I will see you soon, bye for now.

I noticed your beautiful painting in the back goround from that artist we talked about yesterday when we were messaging:) I was looking at that one and there were some that had the sun on the horizon that I REALLY loved:) it was the part where you showed your ric rack cactus, I believe it was a picture of the two people walking in the woods/trees:) Beautiful video my sweet friend I loved watching it and I hope you have a good Monday evening...give monster and Marvin a kiss for me ha ha ha!!!
