That's the first time I've seen a french press actually being used and it's awesome. Horehound candy takes me back to my childhood. The struggle is real when making hard candy by yourself. The batch of sassafras candy I made, didn't realize my candy thermometer wasn't working right. It scorched in seconds and my pot never fully recovered. I ate it anyway lol. After that a thermal thermometer is the go to tool to use. In making treats for Christmas I told Mark the kitchen has became a powdered sugar frenzy. Got so tickled watching this and the white sweetness flying in your kitchen too😘
Use to make pulled taffy every year so now am gonna try me some horehounds. Back when I was a kid my dad swore by horehounds. We all loved them, when we had bad coughs. Soothing thanks for sharing.
This takes me back to my childhood. My Memaw always had these in a glass jar on her coffee table. She would keep a horehound candy in her mouth during this time of year and when she had a cough or tickle in her throat. I am more thankful to have found/started watching your channel with every video of yours that I watch. 🦉❤
Thank you so much for this wonderful homemade horrible cough drops recipe cannot wait to try them out . 🙂🦉🦉 Homemade and natural and organic is the best way to live. 🙂😃🙂 May your family be blessed . 🙏🦉🦉
Ty. So nice Sensi. I'm afraid if I'd been in the help line, I'd receive a mouthful of lye soap. You're so funny. I'll always remember your comment "pooting out bubbles" .Good candy to cure our ails.
Just a thought can you use silicone molds to make the cough drops .🤔 I have some gummy bear silicone molds that can make 50 gummy chewable candy I have not used them in many years but they are still good will it be a good way of making the cough drops in them they would make cute bear shapes . 🤔 Thank you so much I am learning a lot and having so much fun watching you . 🦉🦉
