hello i have a obd2 reader and a gm car .. sir i serviced it with oil filters e c t .. is it possible to turn off service light not check engine management light ?? pllease help
Great video Vlad ! You explained it perfectly and you make it look easy. Looks like I’m gonna get me one so it can save me time going to the garage and having to wait to find up what’s wrong which is usually very simple ! Thank you 👍🏻
People may not see this but if u do please give me your opinion...my car had a 303 engine misfire code, I brought it to mechanic and it was fixed but 2 hours after I picked it up the engine light came back on, at first I thought it simply had to go thru cycles to reset but I went to advanced auto and they did this diagnostic test featured in this video and guess what. It read identical 303 engine misfire, so did the mechanic actually fix it or he just robbed me ,cleared the code temporarily for the engine light to be off when I drove off and it came back on 2 hours later....so I'm confused I'm guessing the mechanic didnt fix it at all otherwise why would it come back to code 303 engine misfire???????
You didn't show if the "Check engine" light went off
You have no idea what you're doing. Let's all agree on that first.

You didn't show what was described in the title.
This video does not AT ALL WHATSOEVER inform you how to reset your check engine light. Not to mention, you have no idea what your doing?
So, how do you clear the Check Engine light? As the title suggests?
Great Video Vlad ! That model looks pretty simple to use. Looks like a decent one to buy ! Thanks 👍🏻
retitle this video as
“opening OBD-II scanner and messing with settings”
He doesn't know what he's doing because he just unboxed it...
I'll just keep watching good old scotty kilmer

Missed the part where you turn off check engine light !
I have one of these devices. Believe me.. IT WORKS!!
You have no clue what you are talking about “the ignition is locked” wtf are you talking about.
Top video!!!
the cheap ones wont pick up any fault codes or be able to reset any check engine lights
This unit does, I paid $9 delivered when it was on sale on Amazon with a coupon from Dealnews dot com. The site is awesome.

P0303 can be caused by anything from old spark plugs to vacuum leaks to poor engine compression.
Roday im either buying one or finding someone i can pay to clear so i can get my shit inspected before i get it towed
Rubbish. You didn't do anything apart from scroll through and obd reader.
write down code before erase code. i got a actron2 obd.
What happens if you accidentally erase the codes? Can you not use it anymore?
Yup cars useless if you do that might as well just scrap it.
