Thank you for the tips, However i suggest you illustrate the summary writing using pass questions. Apply the tips and show how the answers should be. Blissful
Thanks for the approach to answering summary passage, but as a WAEC's marker,we were told that the candidate's sentence shouldn't start with Personal Pronoun such as we,she, it,they etc., because any one of them may refer to human beings or anything in general. Oracles used 2017 as example where they used social media as a subject matter. Any candidate used it had his or her marks deducted by two and the half. So, please, correct this in your next video. Thanks ma.
Good morning great teacher, I really appreciate your effort towards the lecture. You are in need a great teacher. So can you teach all the areas in English language?
Also, I see some tutors teaching openly but you do yours in an abstract background. Why? Your teaching is excellent indeed but why can't you show up? That will be marvelous. Also, please how can someone locate your channel easily? Thanks for everything, May the almighty God bless you and your family.
Madam please is it always that the question b is always found at the last paragraph because WASSCE 2020 I paid much attention to the last paragraph but the answer was not there so I became confused.
thanks ma for the video ma how should we start the summary answers nd ma if we are ask to write in two sentence just one line if the answers is more than one line what should we do
Hello Ma. I really enjoyed today's lesson. It was very helpful. Do u know something, I love summary but sometimes the passages looks difficult and they are not easily to comprehend this is because of the use of sophisticated vocabularies and also complicated expressions. You even gave an example of what I am saying, about the drug abuse thing. So what should I do if I come across such difficult passages. And provided those sophisticated vocabularies and expressions are also the possible answers to the questions. Should I lift them or what should I do at all. Thank you.
Thanks dear When faced with such situation simply paraphrase the sentence. You can use words from the sentence but do not just copy the sentence word to word. Eg If you have this sentence 'Drug addicts display psychotic behaviours, mood swings and may be predisposed to irascible decision making.' If you do not understand some words in the sentence you can paraphrase it like this "People addicted to drugs show psychotic behaviours, they are predisposed to irascible decision making and they exhibit mood swings.
@@emilyjohnson4695 No, it's not. Even though we are to avoid lengthy sentences in answering summary questions, we shouldn't miss the important points. What you should discard are unnecessary examples, adjectives and adverbs.
Thank you for your efforts
