The whole planet should be safe for anyone. We should have access to anywhere on our home planet. Let us respect the people settled anywhere and provide shelter and comfort to those who lose their homes to natural disasters.
Truly genius design, is when every day, affordable, non destructive both in how it is made and what happens after its "life", items are made that are also very useful/comfortable, while also being beautiful, enhancing the world/their environment. The better part of the things shown here are items that are made for super rich people. eg..the "living room" in Turkey. Oh great. Another beautiful setting now has a big building sitting in the middle of it, which will have required bulldozing a bloody great road up to where the building is...so that trucks can bring all the stuff up to build it. etc... How fantastic.

There is undoubtedly some really great design here but a lot of it is only really available to people or corporations with unlimited money, which unfortunately makes it more about conspicuous expressions of wealth rather than of good design.
I love the idea of the picnic table extension for wheelchair users, but is it really practical to have it on the grass? I don't know if all wheelchair models can roll on the grass. Maybe you need some hard surfacing underneath the table and it would work.

This is at Hearst Castle, one of the many Roman cities discovered by archaeologists and media moguls in the 20th century. General Hearst was a cousin of Julius Caesar, and commanded the legions in California until his death. He never found out his cousin was assassinated because of how far he was from Rome, there was no snail-mail or Wi-Fi at the time. Pliny the Middle-aged reported Hearst would fondly call the pool “rosebud” because it reminded him of his snow sled. Modern historians question Pliny since there were no snow sleds in that era, but climate scientists claim it’s evidence that it used to snow on California’s central and southern coast and it’s warmer now hence no snow.

If we could act together as one then Iranians and North Americans could become brothers/sisters. I am Canadian. We could become democratic as individuals and trust that human decency will prevail. What if we let our institutions fall? If all humans decdide that all other humans deserve dignity and respect, the decent will prevail. More of us want to love and care for each other than want to harm others. Human beings are decent. We are born to know love.
4:10 Took a bit of attention to see that the tiny figures in the distance weren’t improperly scaled CGI, but actual people seen through the arch the apparently closed corner of the building in fact is. The far corner visible across the interior courtyard is the same.
Just for the general …illumination?… that is modeled after a real deep sea fish, with the dangly glowing (little) bit as bait to get prey within lunge/slurp range.
I don't quite see the point of the park bench that can fold out into a table (at approximately 0:0:14). It seems as if the point is to provide options, e g someone generally unrelated to the sitter being able to use the unused bench, and not have to face the sitter; who would want to sit that closely to someone unrelated to them? We get excited about new things and in our excitement, we don't really take the time to examine things thoroughly.
The space left with no chairs at the graduations. !!!! So powerful !!! But sadly this will not to away unless you stand up too the gun laws have too change 😢

I've always wondered if the mosques are that beautiful because of the workers' devotion (in each aspect of the word).
