Let’s be real only reason Toprak didn’t win last year was the slower bike. Even playing field .. he destroys!!! 11.3 seconds ahead of the competition..INCREDIBLE
half a second every lap consistently one race long!
You forget about Ducati being penalized and having to add weight and their Redline lowered.
The BMW is still a inline 4 like the Yamaha. But it is much better aerodynamicly! Only about 4-5 mph slower than the V 4 Ducati.
TopRak says engine braking is very good on the BMW. Plus he has got it to turn corners well now.
Still fact is no one else riding a BMW is anywhere near TopRak! He's a very special rider.

In any case Bulega and TopRak are tall 6ft and much heavier than most riders.
You don't see them complaining. Saying their bikes should be allowed to be lighter than the other bikes!

I remember early 90s and the 500s of Rainey, Schwantz era were doing about 1:32 around this circuit . Seemed incredible yet today 8 seconds a lap quicker here makes them look slow 😮

Soy muy de TOPRAK el hace q el sbk sea muy especial y bonito de ver siempre deseando q llegue la carrera pero......sinceramente creo q a partir de misano la norma ANTIBUATISTA a sido una cagada muy grande de la organizacion perjudicando directamente a ALVARO.....si no se hubieran inventao esa norma las pelea serian espectalares ....no q ahora es TR54....y los demas ....desde misano ya se sabe quien va ganar todas las carreras....a ver ahora a los iluminaos q inventan x q me da la sensacion q pronto van a tener un problema ✊✊🏆
El campeonato de Bau durante 2 años se debió a que Toprak, lamentablemente, compitió con la lenta Yamaha. BMW no es un motor más rápido ni mejor que Ducati. Creo que Bulega es un talento joven y un futuro campeón.

let's be real, the reason Toprak won here is because they penalized the better riders to slow them down, so they can use the social media influence of Toprak fan/zombies. this is the end of the WSBK... after a while the benifits will die down, but the damage will be permanent.
