Jack Higgins There is a HUGE sign on the stage for acoustic gigs asking people to turn off their cell phones and refrain from talking. But you know people
Especially when it’s “unplugged” stuff like this if you get what I mean? It’s not a huge band with super loud speakers. Be quiet and enjoy! I’m seeing this legend next month and I’ll only be saying stuff when I’m singing along ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@Ruby Rawlinson lmao Imagine being vexed enough by a 7 year old comment to write your own. Take it it's YOU we can hear jabbering away endlessly and you're here to defend yourself? 😉
@Ruby Rawlinson Yeah, but I like how you said "grow up" to a seven year old comment... for all you know I was 14 when I wrote that and am now in my early 20s. Perhaps I'd even died in the interim. Did you not think it was kinda redundant? But seriously though, was it you, or do you actually enjoy concert footage that's constantly disrupted by a loud conversation occurring right next to the recording equipment?
First time I'd ever seen him. Went to see him just because of I Knew Prufrock Before He Got Famous. It was an awesome show. Can't wait to see him again. Truckstop Honeymoon was good too. Just wish the sound guys had done better that night.
... and I know most people (including Jay) are bored of it, but I'm still surprised that with an audience of people who didn't know his work he didn't do MDMAmazing/Bedford
there are a few quite similar bands other than my friend Jay (Beans) .. such as Mazzy Star (Hope Sandoval - vocals, Suki Ewers - keyboards, Colm Ó Cíosóig - guitar, bass, keyboards, drums Josh Yenne - pedal steel guitar and acoustic/electric guitars) ..former members who died are David Roback, William Cooper and Keith Mitchell th-cam.com/video/8sjncjkeIjQ/w-d-xo.html
Beans on Toast, Sky Smeed and Truckstop Honeymoon are coming back to Knuckleheads Saloon on August 29th. The excellent part is they are coming to the smaller venue at the Knuckleheads complex, the Gospel Lounge. It's very intimate and the perfect place to see an acoustic show. It's about the size of a living room, and holds 50 or so people on, believe it or not, on Wednesday nights is actually a church for people who work in the entertainment business and work far too late in Saturday night to get to church on Sunday morning. So you can be sure that all the audience members will be quiet, attentive and respectful. Here's an example: Sara Morgan in the Gospel Lounge doing "You'll Never Look Old To Me" th-cam.com/video/NWkbQBBlnM4/w-d-xo.html
2 songs in! So glad to discover this today!
Even Jay wouldn't try to argue that he was one of the most important songwriters of his generation.
But he's so fucking great. What a man.
I wish people would shhh and listen to the music

I know it's been almost a decade, but I'm bummed that nobody has pointed out that Prufrock is a cover.
This was a great show. Thanks for uploading it.
josh bower You'll welcome. That show is coming back to Knuckleheads and playing a much smaller, quieter venue.
This whole video makes me so happy :L
Great to see Jay and Bobby enjoying the States and more importantly, the Americans enjoying them.

It sounds to me like they don’t understand and aren’t listening why didn’t the cameramen move away from the 3 or 4 girls who just keep talking
Awesome
love this

Good stuff but you sound like a Rory Macleod tribute band. That’s alright cause I love him as a musician.
omg people talking are so annoying
