There is a part 2 of this video that I explain some of that. Pretty much after you take the lock ring off, the whole fuel pump assembly just picks straight up out of the tank. You just have to wiggle it by the cluster on the handlebars and lean it just a little bit for the float to clear. Hope this helps!
