    They have to keep Herbert, Johnson, and Foreman. All 3. Any one of them can get injured. You need depth in the RB position. Any one of them can start any week. Bears are lucky to have all 3

      do you have footage of him blocking chancellor ? cause i think without this devastating injury he would be the defenses ageless wonder, throwing 300 pounds OL men to the ground before making the tackle on the rb. i cant remember him seriously blocked by a TE since he had the power of a DT or a henry /beastmode/early zeke style rb. and this as a safety. if he had played LB he would at least get the golden jacket he deserves but will not get due to his position and all the credit to thomas. i think gronk might blocked him once, but im not sure, maybe i remember an impressive misstackle gronk did to so many defenders. some ppl specially in NFL are just not from earth or are using so expensive and unknown roids so they dont gettin busted :D

    Two of the Bears' problems are that they don't play a full 60-minute game and they have trouble finishing drives with TD's. Today was a prime example. They start out doing great, then relax down the stretch. Today they score 21 points in the first half, but only 6 in the second half. One reason why Fields is their leading rusher nearly every week is because the receivers cannot get open, forcing him to scramble. Fortunately for them, most of the time he's pretty good at it. The defense is pretty good, but the Bears will never be a great team until they get an offensive line that can protect the QB and open holes for the RB's, and allow time for the receivers to get open. Today was better than average, especially for Kmet. The Bears are improving, but the progress is slow and they have a long way to go. That doesn't bode well for a championship season anytime in the near future. But I'm still a fan, and have been since 1960.

    • @patron40silver
      @patron40silver 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      How do you know the receivers can't get open? Maybe Fields isn't seeing them. Maybe he's not able to anticipate and throw his receivers open. Herbert was WIDE open on that INT but Fields saw it too late and made a horrible pass. That throw should have went to the back of the end zone but he threw it 3 yards short.

    • @nahvae
      @nahvae 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      @@patron40silveryou can wait for all 22 but I was at the game. Fields missed a couple targets and under threw that pick for sure. But overall receivers were well covered and I think fields played a great game besides that pick. I still whole-heartedly believe getsy is not the guy, he let off the gas 2nd half and didn’t want Justin the throw. He clearly doesn’t trust him, idc whether he does or doesn’t. Pulling off the gas everytime makes it so hard to evaluate Justin fairly.

    • @patron40silver
      @patron40silver 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@nahvae I agree that Getsy is bad. I don't agree with much of what he calls. That being said, he knows Fields' abilities/inabilities much more than either of us. Personally, I think his play calling is because he doesn't trust Fields and doesn't want him to make that critical error that loses the game. You being at the game means you have the absolute worst view of the game. You don't get to see all the instant replays or different camera angles. You're far from the field and people are jumping up and down in front of you. Don't get me wrong, I like going to games but it's not because I get to see the game better than on TV. It's because of the atmosphere. I just don't think Fields can anticipate a receiver being open. He needs to see an open receiver before throwing it and that, usually, is too late. Those turn into INTs or scrambling/runs.

The pick in the 4th quarter, he had 2 guys open and he underthrew to the receiver with the 2 defenders. That is bad timing and bad read, no amount of great receivers will help that, Cardinals have the second worst run defense in the league and the 25th ranked defense. So let's not get too excited. in 3 years, he never came behind in the 4h quarter to win a game. All the good quarterbacks have more than once.

That's not coaches, that's not a bad play call, that's not the receivers fault either, that's Fields throwing a pick due to bad ball placement. He didn't have a ton of pressure, he had a lot of time to throw, no excuses for that. He had a few bad throws like that, that could have been picked.
      If AZ was a better team, it would not surprise me to see another upset like we had against the Browns. And that stuff just won't fly in the playoffs/superbowl. Those are a big deal. The only reason people don't care is because at the end of the day we won (against a bad team).

We need that pick to be high because if we go QB with the first pick all of the top WR are going to be gone by the time our pick comes around and we need a WR to match with the QB we should take with the #1 or #2 pick.

    The Bears need coaching that understands the fundamental nature of the Bear-Packer rivalry...full stop. This is still very sloppy football, in spite of the fact that on the field talent and leadership has improved significantly year over. The question isn't should we keep Justin Fields but rather should Justin Fields waste any more of his career with an organization that has consistently proven that they have no workable system to develop and sustain a passing game. Eberflus is not the answer. He doesn't understand Bear football and most importantly lacks field leadership competency. HE should be standing in the breach of the Bears performance year to date.. not Justin Fields. Move on- why does this organization spend so much time with inept coaching to the detriment of young talented players and possibly GMs? I think the Bears should consider to replace Fields tbh, or at least pressure him to improve his performance. Currently he just does not perform well enough to be a franchise QB in the NFL. His passing game performance is easily replaceable. Yes, he creates plays because of his athleticism, but the offense still struggles even with that weapon on our side. The Bears should draft a QB in the first few rounds of the 2024 draft and then let Fields compete for his contract.

    Bears won this one with the defense and run game, they could be a lot more dangerous if the passing game could ever reach the next level.
