She’s absolutely gorgeous, and the band kicks, she is by far the best female vocalist/ singer , and there are some fantastic female vocalist’s lately, but none even close to her strength and melodic textures
She actually performs the softer songs WAY harder live! She is absolutely amazing live! And Alexis is soooo incredibly sweet! She hangs out with the crowd and in the merch booth during the opening acts.

It's hard to getBlack ppl in to heavy music. Little Richard mentored hard rock band Living Colour, who is all black, and said you're going to need support from the black community to really blow up. They never got it, but they did very well, regardless.
As a Mexican American mom of a biracial black and Mexican 4 month old daughter; I have mad respect for Her as a African American lead singer in a metal group. ✊🏿💯
I love that they played for my Middle School before they were famous and I STILL have the shirt they all signed for me. (: I'm so proud that they went from playing for middle school kids to having their own music videos and making it big time.

I was surfing on myspace one day a few years ago and came across this band. I fell in love with them instantly. Watching them evolve over the past couple years has been quite a treat. If any of you ever get a chance to see them live I highly recommend it. They usually open for other bands so make sure to be there early and not just for the headliner.

"Black" does not describe Alexis, as she does not conform to any racial stereotype. She is just another frontwoman to any amazing band! I can't believe that people these days have the balls to be racist! Our differences are what makes us, as the human race, beautiful and unique.
She may not fall into “racial stereotypes” she still is a good inspiration for BLACK WOMEN out there as there’s not much representation for black alternative people in general. It’s not to be a stereotype or to point out she’s black. It’s to point out the fact that she a strong representation of this part of the community and certain races don’t conform to the normal generic stereotypes like rap and being gangster.
My brother was there tour manager when they first started. Loved the band the first time I heard them. Every member in the band are such good people. If you ever get a chance to meet them, you will love them.

I saw them at a Rockstar Mayhem Festival (I think) and was a fan beforehand. I remember loving them in concert and really "felt" her vocals.
