These are basically Vanilla+ mods. I like adding stuff that's lore-adjacent, like Mojave Manhunter. Niero goes so far out of his way to write the lore for all his stuff. Also a big fan of The Mercenary pack for the The Rebel outfit alone. Doesn't get more lore friendly than jeans and flannel imo

We really need a mod that lets you join the gunners i love their faction its cooler than the bos we also need a mod to make power armor the correct style again so it isnt 8’ tall thats something ive always hated and i refuse to wear power armor because it just pisses me off

The iconoclast raider armor is so sick it was my go to armor in f3 and i role-played as a former slave from the pit while using it. Perforator and railway rifle with a super sledge and tri beam laser rifle was my loadout

I’ve been searching for something like that for years and have been using Militarized Minutemen with the uniform patch and camo expansion since forever now. Definitely gonna get this one now.
Who else had never used the metal armor in fallout 3? It' is so easy to get the leather armor from a merchant and when you find the metal armor you have already killed talon mercs and obtained the combat armor
Really dig the Gunner pack. I'll be doing a modded playthrough in Fallout 4 soon. Definantly will want that Gunner pack as part of my load order. Really wish the Children of Atom armor pack was on console. Really looks good. I love the Raider armor pack. My only complaint has to do with the Iconoclast Armor(from The Pit dlc). Specifically the lack of gloves. I know it's a bit nitpicky but it just looks weird not having gloves.
We need more mods like the gunner outfit mod, I prefer the lore accurate armors like these rather then just modern plate carriers , yes but It's sad (in a positive way) that fans/viewers and modders and programmers put more time and effort into games and worry about outfits and weapons than Betehsda.
The biggest thing I wish was different was the art style of the armor and weapons. Bethesda could have easily made many new, interesting armors and weapons for raiders, gunners, even new enemies, but I feel that’s stretching it for Bethesda. Instead they gave every raider generic pipe guns and crappy looking armor, ruined many of the previous games good looking weapons (looking at you assault rifle), and completely went in a new direction with much of the armor. There was a gold mine here for creativity , but instead, we got crappy, generic weapons, generic armor, and generic enemies. And honestly, that’s how I feel about much of the game. Bethesda had lightning in a bottle, but just gave it up.
I dont think F4 has something like that... maybe just the vault underarmor with a full set of leather armor? Atleast thats on every bit of promo artwork.

I’ve been running a new run through but with that gunner pack and holy divide they are a full sized threat and are not only buffed and have new locations but running militarized minutemen and using a flare turns that spot into a full on warzone! 5 Stars I recommend this for everyone!

My biggest complaint with the classic combat armour mod, at least last I ran the standalone on XBOX, is that, whenever it spawns on BOS soldiers, it has the army paint, not BOS paint. And if that's my biggest complaint, that says something about the quality of the mod.
I love Mods truly. they've kept Fallout 4 and Skyrim enjoyable or me Over the Years I've played them. One condition though, as long as it says Lore friendly and by my review if it is then I'm treating these things like an Update :D And yes I've never truly finished Skyrim and Fallout 4. I play them on a monthly schedule or sometimes yearly
GalacTac armor is modular, customizable but no leveled list. It was my favorite to test out my paint collection. It's a direct copy on mandalorian armor from original Star Wars.
I love everything from new Vegas the outfits look cool and I love them.that gunner pack is just awesome.that gatling laser from the child of atom was awesome.
Like there are so many cool mods in fallout 4 but some just don't fit the games graphics and look out of place and mess with my autistic brain so I really appreciate ur video 😀

Fuck yeah!! While I was at the gunner armors section of the videos I was dying to see if this mod was for Xbox. I'm poor as fuck so I can't afford a PC and only use the Xbox my brother sent me from over seas to play games. SO when a good mod like that one is available for me I am quite happy. Is there a armor mod for the generals out that allows you to upgraded it and adds more armor plating to the model of it? Cuz i am looking for a mod where my minutemen are wearing blue/gray and brown long coats having that colonial days outfit.
Fair warning, the Classic Combat Armour mod DOES NOT WORK on Xbox anymore after the next gen update. The update broke several things, and certain mods, like CCA, will crash your mod menu the moment you attempt to look at the mod
I wish there was a proper replacer for combat, raider, and synth armor on Xbox. There’s one mod that replaces synth armor with Star Wars Clone armor, but that’s both not lore friendly and takes up like 450Mb. There is also a Classic Combat Armor mod, but it doesn’t actually replace the vanilla combat armor. As for raider and metal armor, there’s nothing to really replace them, not on Xbox anyway.
Not yet, though the author of the Gunner Outfit is planning to do a Minutemen version sometime in the future. The only alternative for the Minutemen is the Militarized Minutemen mod, though some may feel that it's a bit too militaristic for them.
I don't mind lore friendly but the Institute have teleportation with frigging terminators..Especially with power armour etc tech with weapons and armour wouldn't just stay the same visually many countries now change their military weapons and armour they don't stand still. Also Bethesda's excuse of there is no mass production of weapons and armour is hilarious to hear considering Fallout 4 setting is 200 years after the bombs dropped..Soldiers wouldn't be wearing old combat armour from 200 years ago.
The armor in 4 are already but there are some pieces that weird me out, like how the leather chestpiece is a leather strap which is fine but in its inventory it has a leather vest that looks really good but its restricted to the heavy variant which is rare and to me it looks ugly
As a proud Minuteman and hater of all things Gunner, I strongly approve of them looking like total badasses moments before being mowed down and looted. 10/10 would murder Gunners wearing these outfits.
"Return of the Classics" is a whole set of mods, giving you the "heavy armour" feel from 3/NV, instead of the tank from 4. If you use those, use a pip-boy replacer as well, since most of the armours cover the arm, and make the pip-boy hard to see

I'm going to be honest the classic combat armor mod doesn't work if you have any mod ever installed I had to get rid of all my mods just to download it and all my mods were just for the map itself not armor

What unique armor in Fallout 4 gives you the same feel as the courier's duster? An outfit that just defines the sole survivor.

The gunner armor mod looks like it's an individual piece from Sim Settlement2 with the gunner story

I love the gunner sets, but I wish they were compatible at the armor workbench.
Honestly I'd take 1 lore friendly armor mod over the piles of super modern tactical COD looking armor any day.

I tend to gravitate more towards clothing mods then armor mods. It matches my now you've PO civilian Nate the ex-ranger playstyle better.
