So is this being taught to the breadbaskets farmers in Kenya like the rift where they grow maize. is the govt listening on what they need to do to ensure food security. Food security is not just a word to be thrown around but it needs to come with tangibles
1. Inputs-stop taxing agriculture inputs like fertilizer and Agri equipment
2. We need to educate all farmers on the need for conservation agriculture should be taught all over the country to the farmers in every corner of the country
3. Farmers in areas of black cotton soils should know they are sitting on a gold mine. In Kenya , farmers have been told black cotton soils are not good for agri and this is the opposite
4. Inter cropping and growing the right crops in the right areas.
Did the maize farmer say he imported black cotton soil and mixed it with his soils
Need your contact
He sourced. not imported.
