Love your positivity about recovery, but please keep in mind that 4-5 months of being in recovery is far too short to be recovered. I am 10 months in and my mom sees it going on for quite a while longer. The average is 5 years and 7 years. Recovery is a life long thing. There are many more foods you have yet to try (some that you maybe have never had but will have them in recovery and start to bring them into your diet) , you should be eating as you were as a kid! (Obviously not the amounts lol 😂 but the kinds of foods. Chocolate, cake, donuts, cookies, chips, crisps, waffles and wipped cream, pudding, fried foods , burgers, mc Donald's, take out , etc. ). And I think a bit thing would be to resume a normal relationship with food, eating what your parents prepare for you. It's not really "normal" for kids to cook their own dinner. Parents normally cook it and the kids just eat it. In my house it's like that. I did go through a phase with my Ed where I made my own "dinner". And didn't eat what my parents made. Dinner is a social thing where everyone has the same thing. And you don't know what goes into it! (Ed makes us want to know the ingredients and amounts). And this can go for lunch or breakfast too. Allow your mum to make you lunch or breakfast! Or prepare you a snack.
