This was a really cool video to create and be able to share with you. Lots of food for thought! We appreciate Oscar’s generosity of consideration, ideas, and engagement.

Nice follow up. Not sure I'm a Bo customer but I totally get the approach and can see them being successful!

I can see it as a rental in large flat areas. Boardwalks, malls, city centers. For hotels to rent out to visitors. Would have to have added security features (edit saw the product page it already has gps and anti theft tracking). I wouldn't want to own one, but I would want to be able to rent one if I had traveled to a place and couldn't bring mine with me. So yes renting to tourists and hotel visitors.

Interesting chat gentlemen, I didn't see the car crash interview that you were referring to ...lol...but I like that Oscar was focusing on bringing a scooter to a specific audience...I do love seeing the innovation :) Nicely done :) Cheers Tim's Electric :)

    This is brilliant!
Every time I see this scooter I am amazed. The design choices are discrete but yet, they are making such a significant impact.
Well done ESG for doing a follow-up with them, and well done BO, for bringing something that could only be an industrial design concept to reality!
    I Love it.

I would love to try out the BO scooter. I think it looks really cool and would love to see how it rides/handles. Anytime someone does something new or innovative it seems people always gotta hate. To quote Ratatouille, "the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so."

I think it's an interesting scooter with some cool features. Definitely wish more scooters had built in mounting points for U-Locks and such, and stabilization to allow for one or no handed riding is definitely something I wish I had on my scooters.
I think with good turn signals this Bo scooter would be a great urban commute scooter. Though, tbh, the $2000+ msrp does give me pause. Makes me wonder if maybe they should try the Unagi route with an option for subscription purchases.
Now if someone can combine good suspension, steering stabilization, and traction control, that sounds like the ultimate comfy ride, and also a $4000 scooter lol

Turn signals = much internal debate. Easy to do badly.

The technology in the scooter is impressive, but i’m not entirely sure it’s a good idea to start their lineup with a 2000$ scooter (at least i’m asuming it’s their first). They’ll have to prove that their added features justify the cost to prenium customers. My perception of things is that customers willing to spend that much already have ridden an entry level scooter would try to go with more power next.

I enjoyed this and found it very educational. More deep dives with the people behind PEV's please. With that being said, a $2K+ scooter is not for a mass market audience (currently). That is an above average price point with where the PEV stands today.

Well I for one am a fan. Good on ya' Oscar for bring not just bold but brave to do things differently to everyone else. Just the physics topic of conversation alone is what would have me purchase your design

All these cool specs are great, but at the end of the day, when someone sees 1200 dollar or 900 dollar price range, they are almost immediately put off, they really just want a scooter that goes like somewhat fast and can go long range, so whenever a company does that, that will show a true trend.

Oscar, I now greatly warm to you ( a fellow Englishman). Thank you for getting rid of the estate agent slickness. But as to the scooter, I have now come to the conclusion that this scooter is for the average BMW 4x4 owner.

And I’ll add this. I’m a Inokim OXO owner. I’m willing and want to pay extra for quality. I just don’t think it’s enough performance if I’m being honest. And I need a folding option.

ESG is heavily reliant on review samples to stay in business, so they're gonna do whatever it takes to keep the manufacturers/resellers happy. If they were smart they would seek sponsorships from companies outside the scooter/PEV industry.

And? There's nothing wrong with knowing how (and caring) to manage your business. More companies need to do that. Aside from damage control, this is very educational as well. I like being an educated consumer.

5bn correct. I believe everyone >14 should have access to a scooter style vehicle which will be on a spectrum from ~$2/ride(rental) -$10,000 (RION)
