@@lalapo5304that would be not competent to go to trial, a not guilty by reason of insanity means you get out once you’re found to no longer be insane. Theoretically you could have been insane at the time of the crime, but sane during the trial. So if you were found not guilty by reason of insanity then you would be released immediately after the verdict. But in practice most people end up in a mental ward as bad as prison for decades.
Wouldn't stop him from running for the House or Senate, though. I mean, just look at Republicans.

It's common protocol. Media and public figures are expected to refer to former presidents and Vice-Presidents, by their higher title. Obama is still called "Mr. President" in his interviews for example, not "Barack" same with Biden, when he was seeking re-election he was called "Mister Vice-President."

I suspect in this case it was to get him to talk. If she called him Mr. Trump he would probably have gotten his back up and been uncooperative. It may not have been a great interview but she did get him to say some pretty revealing and damning things.
