It is absolutely UNBELIEVABLE how his looks, gestures (hand to cheek), facial expressions and his voice/intonation resemble those of his daughter Eliot Sumner. Amazing!
I thought she was excellent, very softly spoken but very focused. Charismatic and very attractive. Not unlike Sting.......... The quality of interviews then was much higher than it is now. You can see this now across all media.
Even though Sting had a very ambivalent relationship to his home town, at 3:50 he looks genuinely moved when the interviewer (who was excellent btw), says how proud they are of him as a fellow Geordie.
Wish MY daughter had finished her Duke of Edinburgh gold award scheme, but she couldn’t be bothered though she had virtually nothing left to do ! And I’m of Irish origin too, though my mother was catholic and my father Anglican .
The interviewer is SO cute 🥰🥰🥰😘 she has those big beautiful eyes, she looks like a manga character ❤️ I wonder where she is now The more I look at her, the less I wanna see Sting and see more of her 😊
Great interview, the interviewer is really good at her craft
And Sting is well spoken as usual
Oh I love this! I am 60 years old and have loved Sting since The Police, I remember my first concert thinking he looked and sounded like a God!

Eliot is the only child of his that actually looks like him, none of the others do from either marriage .
sting maravilhoso 5 estrelas
Great footage thanks for uploading
Damn.....She is a hard-hitting, intimidating interviewer!!

Invisible Sun was written (in some manner anyway) about or regarding the Troubles. How interesting, never knew this.

Great interview. Autumn/Winter 1981?
@@josephdevlin7528 yep!
Now imagine the same day, the same room, the same Interviewer.. and she's got Stewart Copeland there!
Would be a hoot - Sting is quite funny - but he is more reserved than Stewart
Cute😂

He seems to be sad and have anxiety.
He generally has a melancholy vibe about him.
