Its hard to find someone who plays the game of the week and is actually good at it. Usually I hate being recommended new channels because they ignore all the mechanics, scream/die for an hour, cut it down to 10 minutes, upload and never touch the game again

Fun Fact: If you DO NOT move the Nut Cracker cannot see you. However, If he sees you BEFORE you stop moving or a teammate is moving around you then you can and will get shot
It's really interesting how monsters work together so you're forced to cooperate as well. Certain monsters require you to keep eyes peeled on them while others sneak behind you so in order to survive you have to communicate.
Very few other co-op games has this level of strategy implied to it.
And especially very few games that also have a strong emphasis on collecting as much loot as possible, as fast as possible. The time crunch will cause players to intuitively spread out to gather stuff and the monsters are just waiting to take advantage of it, so you're naturally forced to keep a level head either in how you work together, or how you solo handle any situation if you split off. Brilliant balance there. :)

I just had an idea, why not have SUNNY weather where the radiation levels outside are high enough to kill players if they stay too long in the sun so the players have to hide behind the shadows in addition it can also heat up metallic items that will heat up when metallic items are left in the sun rays for too long and will damage players over time.
Having the loot bug yell Yipee is the best addition to the game...
They should add it as an option in vanilla and have the option just say "Yippee" with no context for what it does

jester suddenly stood into the doorway i wouldve used to get in cover from nutcracker.... needless to say, i had enough lethal company for that day
This game really does provide some of the funniest chaos I've seen in a while.
I like how when coil-heads move naturally and don't make spring noises, they stop silently when you spot them as if they are just as surprised to see you as you are to see them
I would like to confirm Nutcracker appearing in Experimentation on day 1 being true. It happened to me today when I was playing solo to kill time and then that thing killed me instead. I couldn't believe it either 😂
I can honestly see an update with whatever comes next that probably reallocates loot placements at some point.
Prioritizing certain loot in “loot rooms”
And leaving the random scrap like axels, sheets, keys and such throughout the pathway’s. Could you even add little scenery objects like a key-holder in an area so you know its at least within a room or two connected from it.
Little things yk not needed but you could totally see added. I definitely just wanna see where this goes as a game.
I think somebody said it in chat once, but when trying to kill the nutcracker, you have to hit the eye, its like a critical point and should kill it in 1-2 hits
I feel bracken has like... 100% spawn rate on EVERY single moon including Experimentation.
That's crazy. I only encounter him 20% of the moons I go on.
I feel that not being able to collect part of the spider corpse is a missed monetary opportunity 😁
I really hope the Yippee mod is made cannon. It's so perfect.

bracken + coilheads (or nutcrackers) are the bane of my existance.
You need the bonk shovel and the fart reverb mines. My friend and i almost crashed the game setting off a bunch of mines in a chain reaction on Experiment, and the echo of farts just kept going lmao

Also insym you can’t kill the nutcracker you have to target it’s eye while it looks around otherwise you can’t kill them

on the back fire exit on march, rather than going to the right and all the way around, its much safer and quicker to just go left to the ship, and there is no quicksand
i also found a nutcracker on day 1 but we got all shot to death on experimentation

i think before the update coilhead never spawn beside Rend,Dine,and Titan, and now coilhead can spawn on March and Vow too
The coil head could always spawn on March and Vow, albeit very rarely. I remember first encountering one on one of those moons
Nah it could happen before the update but they might have made it more common? My first time seeing a coilhead was on either march or vow and I got jump scared by a bracken suuuper bad and started running back to main entrance and turned the corner to a coilhead meeting me in the doorway. Worst experience ever 😭😭
Maybe I'm just misremembering but I thought my first coilhead experience was on assurance.

25:53 After a few mins the Jester resets. That's why Psycho triggered it to pop. Did Insym think the Jester wouldn't B-Line straight to him as soon as he entered the fire exit? There was no way to keep it at the main door.

it is NOT few minutes. it only takes 5 seconds of no players in the building for the jester to reset.

How is the thumper so damn slow in your game? Everytime I encounter the thumper he ass fks me .2 seconds from the otherside of the world
The thumper speeds up the longer it’s aggro’d on someone. Best to sneak up on them from behind if possible. They can’t hear you they can only see you, so sneaking up on them is pretty easy.
Also if you manage to get a hit on them with a shovel, it stun locks them and resets their speed for a second so if you can get the first hit on them that’s all you need to do to create the opening to finish them off. Just keep whacking them a few more times at that point and you’re good.
I still occasionally die to a thumper but usually only when there are other threats I have to worry about too, like a bracken that I know is on my ass or a coil head I can’t look away from. Once you figure out how to deal with thumpers, they’re pretty easy to manage, at least in a 1v1 situation.

How does the signal work?
Since I've seen you die a few times like this, I'm gonna let you know something. When you melee a nutcracker, you always go for the chest, and hence do 0 damage. That's why it always kills you. You're not even hurting it.
