@@hughsmitham722 Check out this image. www.carid.com/rcv-performance/ultimate-cv-axle-set.html It looks like it is impossible to break the outer race though maybe the stub shaft could break. Is good to have a Toyota in the group.. it's get everyone home safe😉
Guy in the silver 2 door with rebel offroad stickers is my good buddy Scott. He wheels the piss out of that rig. I actually met up with him the day after wish I had the chance to catch up with you guys.
Dang that sucks. Looks like the rear got hung up and put too much load on that shaft. Glad you still had a good time. Get er wheelin again. 😎
Awesome video Nate! I think the Dirtbags is fitting for your viewers lol
I'm very impressed with these rigs! Looks like you had some fun
I know the feeling... I took a friend wheeling with me, his first time on the rocks. We came up to the first obstacle. The guys in front of me were having tough time but I thought if I hit it a little hard I'd make it look easy... well... nope not me... I blew-up the carrier in the rear Diff to the point it need to be removed just to get off the trail.... ugh...
Well doesn’t that blow!!! Came all the way down to Johnson Valley and the rig shits the bed on your first run. That’s Jeeping for you. Hope you got it fixed the second day so you could do some trails!!!
The wheeling gods were laughing at me that day lol. I had been wheeling for 4 days already and I was not nice to it. I think I fractured the cv the day before the dirtbag run. Then it fell apart on the first obstacle. 👍
Love the camera work man. You sure let people see what goes on the whole way
Thank you!
Was a great time
loved the use of slo-mo in this video! bummer about the d44 breaking - curious to see what happens with it next. AAHhh-chOOdana60 lol!
Thanks buddy 😁👍
Hell yeah awesome trails awesome rigs great video Nate!
That sucks you broke so early. But looks like you had A ton of fun still. One year I’ll make it out there
That ZJ is sweet!
Look at that ZJ though!
My Off-Road Obsession thanks, Zj’s are a rare animal out of the trail. It was a good trip for her this year. I even ran chocolate thunder at KOH this year.
@@jamesgoldman6711 very impressed! Definetly a goal to one day have my ZJ up to snuff to handle anything out at KOH.
James Goldman great to see a ZJ out there! I’m just trying to keep mine together enough to trail ride!
My Off-Road Obsession it’s fun having something different. The best part is getting heckled and then climbing the obstacle. I took it up chocolate thunder one of the nights at KOH and pulling in the to obstacle the crowd was yelling where’s the groceries and are those aired up 32s. I then proceeded to walk right up chocolate thunder with no issues.
@@jamesgoldman6711 definetly a fan of mini van
I am going to try to make it there next year . great footage Nate
You broke your front end , but we won because you were able to perform some great cinematography . Thanks for the video.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Looks like a lot fun.
How did I miss this one. Great video as always
Great video. Some day i will make it across the Atlantic to witness KOH

Hey Buddy.
We were in camp together.
We were talking about your 1.9 conversion.
Anyway...are those shafts made of Chromoly in the front?
Can't believe you broke on Turkey Claw....oh well...it happens.
It was cool meeting you.
They were chromoly and 300m. I must have broke the rcv the day before and it fell apart on Turkey claw 👍
Sorry I missed you. My schedule didn’t allow me to see the hammers this year. I live in Yucca Valley. Maybe next year.
Sux about your axle but your attitude is awesome !! Its the only thing you can control right ? , lol. Great video dude , get em next time...peace bro.
Thanks man! Sometimes you just gotta make the best out of a bad situation 👍

A bad day on the trail is better than a good day at the office.
Omg the Luck 😉and my auto play has ur building a unbreakable Dana 44 vid up next in the cue 😂 hey I use to wheel a Dana 30 in my tj luckily only broke it once. My 35 lived a harder life 4 sets of gears. Worst was 7 broken ring teeth. My mopar service contract got sum use 😉☺️😝and I got paid to fix my own rig 😳😂
