Gosh, I'm totally amazed! It looked very VERY horrible when you found it. Once you restored, it looked like brand new! And fully functional! Also, whoever stepped on the keyboard, I hate him forever...
Amazing work. I was working 8 years ago in pc service. We had in our service a small warehouse with computer scrap. Many of this scrap were almost complete computers from 90s and early 00s. It was a heaven for me.
That's sick man! There's like a hundred of those things in one of the big connected school looking rooms of rancho los amigos along with chairs and desks
Damn what a hot machine! I realized I'm in love with primal technology's format, not content. This gave me the exact same feeling, just with cooler content. Good video man ♥️
I have an IBM Mod. AAI5992 in perfect condition and it has been stopped for many years and now it starts but it asks me to update the date and the battery is discharged, how can I replace the battery?
That was a nice IBM pc restoration video! Although I am very convinced, in 13:59, i want to know where do I get these custom keycaps: light blue WASD and the orange-red ESC keys? Are there any links of shops or 3D models for printing these keys? I am also interested in getting older IBM Model M Keyboards.
Insane, they left the hard drive in. Im pretty sure that may have contained private medical records whatever company owned the computer was obligated to destroy once the facility was abandoned, or escrow it or send it off for protection. HIPAA would have had a field day with these guys.
This is very cool bro! Great video! And I was curious so I did some googling and found out that this machine is actually an old 386SX running at a "blazing" speed of only 20MHz! I wonder if that machine had the 80387 math co-processor on the board as well?
Im not sure about the math processor ill need to look into it. this thing could barely run windows 95 haha. I was too lazy to set up a fresh hard drive but when I do itll have windows 3.1 on it
An abandoned mental asylum. Think that place would have been spooky! Did you find anything else interesting? Great tedious and painstaking restoration! Did you find any interesting data on the HDD?
That is one happy computer, after so many years in the asylum. Greg Salazar would approve. :) It somehow resembles the computers in my "high school" (as it's called in the US), back in the 80s. They came with those huge, 5" floppy disks. I remember learning how to work in "Writing Assistant" and "Filing Assistant". Anyone knows what OS those machines had?
Hey you want to replace that Dallas chip with something better and easier with Cmos battery you should LGR builds he found better replacement for those chips!!!

make the person who stepped on the keyboard feel what it feels like to be a keyboard

I just found your channel and I'm absolutely in love with these videos. You should scout out more abandoned places to find more repair opportunities
That's sick man! There's like a hundred of those things in one of the big connected school looking rooms of rancho los amigos along with chairs and desks
yes I've heard about that room trying to figure out exactly which building it is
Im currently building a sleeper out of that same computer case. Mighty have to take a trip down there for some parts. >;)
This was one of the most amazing transformations I’ve ever seen.
I didnt know these IBM PC‘s could run Windows. Also, this is the real pro gaming setup!

@10:24 Wow, I wonder who exactly was the entity that manufactured that here in Philipppines back then?
Nice job. However stepping on that model M keyboard hurt.... alot.

I'd love to see more people restore stuff from Abandoned Places and give them a second life.
Beautiful computer. Built way before my time. I was born in 1997.

Great job! I love this keyboard !
Windows 3.1 would be perfect fit for that vintage PC, awesome video though.
I weeped at the ending. I'll be rewatching it like my aunt rewatched Titanic, to weep some more.
Nice restoration dude😊
What a coincidence it says 11 January 1992 and the I am watching this is 11 January 2022

I did something similar with a Dell from 1996. Sometimes it boots, sometimes refuses to boot or to see hard disk.

Yes The 90s MAC
Why you drilling the screw
It was a security screw and I didn't have a screw driver with a hole in the middle so I had to
Woah Windows95 on 1992 ibm that so cool . Is it a 386sx or 386dx or other

there was no drive when i found it, it was stripped

Too much, 75% of the time revolved around the floppy drive
