My alliance has been almost completely f2p for over a year. Currently 4th in state ranking. We have our fun in RR and play a little lemmings during cc and svs. Funny enough maybe only 2 or 3 players have really quit since then and everyone accepts more and less active periods from all members.... No more pressure. It doesn't matter if you spend zero or 5k per year, you are just as chanceless competing the whales. Same with events. Don't try to end higher with spending, just get your reasonable rewards.
I quit almost two years ago. I had spent over $40,000 and was still only fourth or fifth strongest in my state. It was to time consuming and expensive. And my state was always in a total war against ourselves. So no down time. Top alliances didn’t cooperate and were always fighting after state merge. So I was just tired of it. But I do come back and check out SOS videos. I did have good memories and meet some good people I still chat with now. So SOS has a place in my heart

I just only spent around 20 dollars in 4 years, still playing for fun, especially for rr and other event, but the problem recently is the game keep crashing and forced me to restart, this is really annoying
The events are getting worse than before. At least we used to have breaks between events, but now when one ends, another one begins. I remember when we just had one event a month, now there's a new one every week!
Ufff tell me about it. We used to have spending top up event on every 3 months. Now there is a top up event every months and it's to pressure and stress us into spending more to get the freebies. (When we typically would have avoided to spend like this in normal situations)
Not even that, some events starting in the middle of the other event. No break to breathe. I already said goodbye to my sleep now they want me to say goodbye to my job 😂😂😂

Spend on an event, then another event, then more upgrades, new statue, new MK, heroes, and more, more, more, more... In this game you will never be maxed. ¡NOOOOO MORE SPENDING!
Yeah it's pretty exciting to come back from retirement. The early grind is really nice, but the hours to stay awake at the early part of the game truly is tiring. I enjoy this part of the game more but being strict and in control of the spending is what is the most challenging thing for spenders.💙🦍

I'm on my last straw after the Nexus debacle. Many players could not even enter the event because of a bug and who knows if that will be fixed. Meanwhile all the good mines are packed and of course they tied a bunch of badges to the event. The amount of time you have to be online to mandatory complete things for events is just getting out of hand as is the daily grind. Game is simply not fun any more and the fifty dollar bundles just for a tower show that they only want to cater to whales rather than players who can afford a few bucks here and there.
I know what you mean. Players are so exhausted after the Nexus debacle it's beyond belief but this was the same bullshit when they released MM. The developers are not willing to listen to any feedback.
Havent spent in a week, feels pretty nice. Hardest part is deciding to not give a crap about the event that just came out, but once you just let go its sooooo much easier to be like “oh, out of diamonds? Guess Im not buying anymore this week” 😊

It's the same in state 1037. Our leader board is littered with dead rally lead accounts and our current leader at 6 bil is no longer spending. Collection level 81 and 6 bil bp. She just hangs out now. Sad to see this game following the same path as game of war in it's final few years
Played this game for three years spent hardly anything so that side does not hurt me. I can’t compete with the giants so if only more could be like me the game would not be a chore but a pleasure.
I was a low spender and I went to F2P after I didn’t get what I bought in a pack and customer service lied and said they'd give me the right item and ultimately I didn’t get it.
Not even 3 months anymore. Every other week a new thing comes out that needs maxed. Hell they released 2 planes at the exact same time! That's when I realized I would never even get close to catching up. Now I spend more casually, w/o feeling like I need to max it out to stay strong.

In the past, we felt safe when we reached a certain level of energy. But now even CatZilla can got zero v. Just normal players couldn't survive. As for weak players, they could no longer play.
I think SoS have people in certain states to manage and track certain things. I cannot 100% state the obvious and proof it but there are many states that have mentioned about people buying bundles yet never playing any events. Strong gorilla but low troop counts. Certain conflicts that are not aligned with something a mega spender would do.
I have a stats of almost 6k attack and defence and health lethality of 2k I could not survive a one day in nexus at states 800+ I mean wtf is going on in that event
They pair a few low level alliances with a couple of the super alliances on the server. Basically feeding the whales. It's happened twice now in my state, 967, and both matchups were vs 2 of the strongest alliances on the server. We're an 80 bill BP, going up against a 200 bill BP alliance 😂. It was a bloodbath, naturally. They burned everyone, including our rally leads when they attempted to rally. Fodder for the whales.

It's difficult to argue what is fun, some people feel it's better to play in small league. Some prefer to play competitive. So it's very difficult to quantify humans what is right and what is wrong.💙🦍
Your strategy quickly becomes based on how much you spend, which isnt a real strategy for a game. This makes the game boring. It doesn't require much thought to spend money. Therefore, there exists no real challenge.
Sadly you are correct the strategy now is based on how much you spend. When you have a kraken vs kraken that's only when strategy is applicable. When you have 2 kraken vs 1 kraken the game then has zero strategy left. Even trying to be smart is no longer possible.
collector 74 and 13 mil bp (minute 4:40) doesn't spend 250k dollars. I appreciate your vids, and you know much about the game, but this can be achieved with much less money. I am way below spending the amount you claimed this player spent, currently collector 89/90 just some steps away and 6 mil BP, not even close to 50% of the amount what you said (after 2 years of playing). it takes time, yes, you don't need to buy everything within the second it appears - and yes, you are right, there are ppl on Cardins level (expect heros gen) spending 500k and more after 2 years of playing this game; same with QueenSlayer - one of my alliance mates is collector 57, same level as Queen and spent in total probably 1k in the game within 2 years. All I want to say, based on collector, BP, etc. you cannot say how much a player spent. You have to take tempest (especially from the trading store), time playing this game, when did the player start (because in the beginning +4 years ago the games wasn't that expensive with wings, e.g.) into account, afterwards you can say something about their spending. If someone is currently VIP 3/4 you know exactly what happened in my opinion. Anyways, Wacko, I appreciate your vids and your opinion very much, no hate, just a comment. Thanks and keep going.
@E1077KND yeah older states players end up spending more money on the older gen items but they are pushed out at a cheaper rate typically for newer states players to catch up. So as the game tries to expand the band to newer states they will make it cheaper for newer states so the expansion will allow more newer states to be absorbed into older states brackets.
I have spent $3k on my PS4 and get 1,000,000x more enjoyment than SOS provides…. My hand eye reflexes are far more superior than any other SOS player and it cost me $0 dollars!
I'm just a "little whale" with a collection level of 83 and a BP of 9.7 billion (I don't have many troops 🤣). Since the last update, I've completely stopped putting money into this game. The devs (funplus) have become completely megalomaniac. About 3 months ago we got all the heroes from Gen 12 to Gen 18 (cross gen event). I still don't have all the heroes at max. And now Gen 19 is coming, new vehicles, new tempests and so on. All at the same time. THAT'S TOO MUCH IN TOO SHORT TIME. I've given up. I'll keep playing as F2P because I really like the people in my alliance and want to keep playing with them. But this game won't see any more money from me! Best wishes from the state 827

I would not claim the figures are accurate. They are at a general ball park to give people idea of how much the strongest players in State of Survival would have spent. Some of these players would have spent a heck of a lot more, on a conservative pov, I stuck to the lower end. $10,000 a month is not enough to be a super max rally leader in SOS. $30,000 a month is properly on general terms more appropriate. Therefore, per annum $360,000 minimum would be the general average

When I started this project to make this video, I didn't know really what they would all total into. It took me awhile and the projected spending is based on a lower average than what I think people would have spent. In truth most folks would have spent more, but it was important for me to keep it at the lower end and be conservative.

I can definitely say that I am addicted to this game. I've been playing it for 4 years and I did quit once a year and I would always come back 😂. Right now events just popping non-stop and before there was a limit how many bundles you could buy now it's literally limitless If you have the money you can spend 10K+ a day But before when we started remember it was a limit which would prevent put huge gap between spenders and f2p. Now even spenders cannot close the gap between spenders themselves. This game is bottomless pit. Oh yeah and let's not forget about broken events like Nexus which we obligated to participate because of the Migo 😭😭😭😭😭

It's difficult to argue what is fun, some people feel it's better to play in small league. Some prefer to play competitive. So it's very difficult to quantify humans what is right and what is wrong.💙🦍
Your strategy quickly becomes based on how much you spend, which isnt a real strategy for a game. This makes the game boring. It doesn't require much thought to spend money. Therefore, there exists no real challenge.
Sadly you are correct the strategy now is based on how much you spend. When you have a kraken vs kraken that's only when strategy is applicable. When you have 2 kraken vs 1 kraken the game then has zero strategy left. Even trying to be smart is no longer possible.
collector 74 and 13 mil bp (minute 4:40) doesn't spend 250k dollars. I appreciate your vids, and you know much about the game, but this can be achieved with much less money. I am way below spending the amount you claimed this player spent, currently collector 89/90 just some steps away and 6 mil BP, not even close to 50% of the amount what you said (after 2 years of playing). it takes time, yes, you don't need to buy everything within the second it appears - and yes, you are right, there are ppl on Cardins level (expect heros gen) spending 500k and more after 2 years of playing this game; same with QueenSlayer - one of my alliance mates is collector 57, same level as Queen and spent in total probably 1k in the game within 2 years.
All I want to say, based on collector, BP, etc. you cannot say how much a player spent. You have to take tempest (especially from the trading store), time playing this game, when did the player start (because in the beginning +4 years ago the games wasn't that expensive with wings, e.g.) into account, afterwards you can say something about their spending. If someone is currently VIP 3/4 you know exactly what happened in my opinion.

@E1077KND yeah older states players end up spending more money on the older gen items but they are pushed out at a cheaper rate typically for newer states players to catch up. So as the game tries to expand the band to newer states they will make it cheaper for newer states so the expansion will allow more newer states to be absorbed into older states brackets.

I'm just a "little whale" with a collection level of 83 and a BP of 9.7 billion (I don't have many troops 🤣). Since the last update, I've completely stopped putting money into this game. The devs (funplus) have become completely megalomaniac. About 3 months ago we got all the heroes from Gen 12 to Gen 18 (cross gen event). I still don't have all the heroes at max. And now Gen 19 is coming, new vehicles, new tempests and so on. All at the same time. THAT'S TOO MUCH IN TOO SHORT TIME. I've given up. I'll keep playing as F2P because I really like the people in my alliance and want to keep playing with them. But this game won't see any more money from me! Best wishes from the state 827

I would not claim the figures are accurate. They are at a general ball park to give people idea of how much the strongest players in State of Survival would have spent. Some of these players would have spent a heck of a lot more, on a conservative pov, I stuck to the lower end.
$10,000 a month is not enough to be a super max rally leader in SOS.
$30,000 a month is properly on general terms more appropriate.
Therefore, per annum $360,000 minimum would be the general average
I never spent that much but im onlynlike a smallish whale, like an orca 🤣. I also pride myself in getting the same abilities as bigger spenders for less money, thats the competition for me, how creative can i get.

When I started this project to make this video, I didn't know really what they would all total into.
It took me awhile and the projected spending is based on a lower average than what I think people would have spent.
In truth most folks would have spent more, but it was important for me to keep it at the lower end and be conservative.

I can definitely say that I am addicted to this game. I've been playing it for 4 years and I did quit once a year and I would always come back 😂.
Right now events just popping non-stop and before there was a limit how many bundles you could buy now it's literally limitless If you have the money you can spend 10K+ a day But before when we started remember it was a limit which would prevent put huge gap between spenders and f2p. Now even spenders cannot close the gap between spenders themselves. This game is bottomless pit.
