HE WAS ALWAYS SAYING THAT HE GOT A LOT OF HIS MUSIC FROM AL AND HANK WILLIAMS , AND DON'T FORGET HIS GOD GIVEN TALENT, NOBODY REALIZES THAT HE COULD SING AS WELL AS PLAY THE WHITE OFF THE PIANO KEYS!?!
This is the best. I don't think Ive ever heard him in better form than in these recordings. So amazing, he's been my favorite artist forever and this is as good as anything I've heard from him. RIP JLL.

Yes ! The first one "Pride Don't Mean a Thing'' is, I guess, the alternate take missing on the Caribou Sessions as they added some Kilroy Sessions work later on.
I JUST BOUGHT AN ALBUM JLL RECORDED LIVE IN BIRMINGHAM AL. 1964 I PAID DEARLY AN ORIGINAL STILL IN THE PLASTIC BRAND NEW. I WON'T SAY WHAT I PAID. I GOT IT 5 WEEKS BEFORE HIS PASSING

Yes I think so! it was the same producer so they mixed the two sessions, I like better Caribou though!
