It looks like there might be a slight glitch around the 01:34 mark in the video, we've done our best to trim it out, but if the jump looks a bit sudden, then that is why. How very clever of you - the siding on the playpen!!! And you seem to know what you’re doing with the bees….I buy local honey, there’s a honey bee farm quite close by. Use for lots of things including hot honey lemon/turmeric drink & honey/cinnamon on toast with blueberries or strawberries/raspberries! Love it! Joe’s growing of course- He’ll be running around investigating everything in no time! How old is he now? Take care y’all! xxx (watching from Sidney, BC, Canada)
It's not a toxic plant, there's a slim chance of an allergic reaction as there is with everything, but he's been fine. If I'm honest, I'd rather have items like this around than manufactured plastics. Thank you for your concern though 🙂

I so love watching your little family adventures, The allotment looks great and sweet little Joe is the happiest little chap! I would love a jar of your honey,so im off to check the links. xx
That is a neat playpen. But you may need a baby gate around the stove too. Soon he will get out of his playpen and then the floor is the only place. He will be waddling along 🤩
How quickly he changes is scary! Honestly week by week a new challenge comes along haha the playpen is holding strong at the moment, but he's needing more space to burn a bit of energy 😄 lots of trips to various stay and plays at local libraries!
Hey! Thank you for popping us on, we hope you enjoyed the episode :) Drop us a comment and let us know where you're watching from and whether you think I have a case against Gabby haha! See you soon! xx
if you cut your squash plants after the fruit you want to ripen, the plant will put all its energy into ripening the fruit already formed instead of putting energy into growing new flowers and fruit.
Hope you're all well, I was thinking that you could make a tomato chutney with your green tomatoes. Would it be easier to buy a small playpen for Jo, I worry he gets splinters off the willow. More cooking please!😊 I enjoy seeing you preparing food on your boat.x
Hey guys, Jack you did a splendid job on the enclosure for jo. It really looks good! As bethanknight4194 said there is a glitch at the 1:34 spot on the video. Mark Alberta, Canada
I live in Florida which must be the lizard capital of the world. We have a dog named Rufus who will knock anything out of the way just to get to one ☝️ f them. Plus they are eating the leaves off of my zucchini plant. Since I have had several back surgeries this year, my garden is on my patio. I may have planted a little late, but I had to wait until my physical therapist said it was ok. You may need to make a trellis for the squash to climb up. I love gardening!
lol on the lotto ticket we are from bloxwich West Midlands love the play prenup date but yes you are right soon be out grown you are brave coping with the bees all tc now blessings from your oldies xxxx🤗🤗🤗🤗
So many tomatoes! What a great crop. Next year, you can take off lots of the foliage when they have formed to let the sun ripen them. I can empathise re Jo. My eldest son never slept at night and would only sleep in the day when driving around! He would wake up as soon as the key was taken out!! 😴😴
As for the tomatoes and pumpkins , I think Monty Don said to cut away some of the tomato leaves to increase the amount of sun getting to the tomatoes . He also said to cut off new tendrils from the pumpkins at this time of year to increase the goodness going to the bigger pumpkins. Please check in case I'm wrong xx
Willow bark is medicinal its an anti inflamatory and pain relief and my be a bit too strong for a baby. May be worth stripping the bark off. Great for hand holds for standing though ❤
With so much on her mind making sure she doesn't forget any shopping and things to plan for the rest of the day it's no wonder she forgot the lottery ticket and think of the money she saved you.
We have a photograph somewhere of our eldest daughter as a baby in her playpen outside, we put a note on “do not feed the animals” she is now a mum of 3 daughters of her own
I'm always looking for yalls new vlogs( I try not to be a worry wart, but....) that bird, goose swan beast was screaming for food, or blood. I'm Virginian watching from my boat here in Texas (Rockport) ❤❤❤❤
I really do enjoy your videos.I can't believe those swans hissing at you like that.I am so looking forward to seeing what you do with the green tomatoes.your food you cook always looks delicious 😋.
Hi love the video & the additions to Joes playpen - just enough for safety but he still can see you & he’s able to stand up with support, which is great. Lovely to see you all again. ❤
Someone on here growing tomatoes said she puts then in a brown paper bag to rippen, no idea if it works, worth a try, also ripe banana's kept next to other fruits are suppose to make them ripe. Won't be long before joe is walking, hope you have some safety ideas up your sleeves for that one 😊, I love watching your little family, so sweet together💙 ❤ 💙 🤗🌈🌱
Take care with willow can cause allergic reactions and chewing/ sucking it . When Joe stands tipping it over as we know babies are very strong. Good idea though , basket weaving coming?
I think he should be fine, it's not caused any reaction so far and I'd rather be surrounded by natural materials than petrochemical plastics. He is strong! Such a good grip, it keeps surprising us haha
There was no glitch on mine 👍! Loved this video and well done on making a great life for your lovely family, .although challenging obv! 😀 Good luck in all you do.
@@JewelRussell-nr8oy honestly, every week he's learning something new. I don't think we have long until he begins to totter about. He's trying to stand without holding onto the sides more and more. Lots to keep an eye on haha

Not sure if you've ever been in a boat, but it's quite tight for space. Our living area's width is 165cm. A travel cot is 65 cm wide. On the other wall we have shelves. So that would give a grand total of 50 cm spare in our lounge. Everything we do has to be custom made, it's a boat. If you're happy throwing your money at more stuff when there are solutions you can do for free, then don't let us stop you 🙂 your home is your home, our home is ours 👍🏻

Hi, why not look at a travel cot to use as a playpen. I'm a multiple mother and needed eyes in my backside 🙈😂
Darned good idea, travel cot !

My husband said when the lizards warm up it helps them digest their food.
Nice garden keep up good work.
Hi Jack please check that the willow bark is not poisonous for little Joe and your dog if chewed

I agree. Go to second hand store and buy a playpen as he would have room to move around and stand up. Love your videos.
Your luck doesn't work if you have a feeling and send someone else. You should have bought your own lottery ticket.
Your Brussels Sprouts would appreciate some ‘feed’, use 1 part human urine to 9 parts water.
Loving the play pen it looks like a cross between a boat and a boxing ring. Either way just add a bell lol.
Watching from Bavaria!
Great instalment, as usual...
Yes I said to wrap them in newspaper .. it always worked for me
Hi! I make green tomato mincemeat (it’s delicious) and process it in jars, so it can be stored in a cupboard.

Do you think the baby could get its head caught between the playpen rails.
How clever, your playpen is ingenious! I love it, well done …
As soon as the tomatoes have a blush, put them in a paper bag together and they will ripen.
