About this game:
When Isaac’s mother starts hearing the voice of God demanding a sacrifice be made to prove her faith, Isaac escapes into the basement facing droves of deranged enemies, lost brothers and sisters, his fears, and eventually his mother.
Gameplay
The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action RPG shooter with heavy Rogue-like elements. Following Isaac on his journey players will find bizarre treasures that change Isaac’s form giving him super human abilities and enabling him to fight off droves of mysterious creatures, discover secrets and fight his way to safety.

I mean, Eve's Mascara also halves your fire rate, so it is DPS neutral if you don't have flies or something, and it's a shot speed down to boot.
That being said, he got 100% poison tears right after, and poison damage is based off of yours... As such, he probably should have taken it.
Does it count as a damage upgrade if it's a DPS downgrade??
Eve's mascara is fine on Lilith since the incubus always has constant shot speed.
And there was a tears up on the same floor from blue cap. I took it. Came 46th because I got sac of sacs somewhere and popped every damn batterie it gave me on boss rush. Soooooo many sacs. One of which gave me another ehwaz, so I got to the womb 2. no self sacrifice room there either though.
In the short term if doesn't affect DPS, but reaching tear cap is easier, if he would have taken the Eve's Mascera, he would have had low tear rate but the Dim bulb and tractor beam would have increased the tear rate. During the run, they didn't decrease the tears.

He would have gotten a 3000 rank if he took that. He was only able to speed up before boss rush because his rate of fire was good

I mean, I took eve's mascara and scored like 44th so I wouldn't say that necessarily. It's usually an upgrade or at the very least a sidegrade if you can make up for the shot speed. I'd say the only place it really hurts you is when there's a swarm of flies or something and your tear rate is too low to deal with them effectively. That's about it imho

I can give a pass for that, because talking all the time can take up some capacity, and playing a few games in a row may add to that.
have you ever tried to provide constant, engaging commentary while playing? it takes up a solid 80% of your brain
NL, demon beggars, curse rooms, Razor blade, etc. do not give damage penalty.

Have you tried entering Boss Rush during the Mom fight? I believe you can do Boss Rush before fighting Mom since the door opens at the start of the fight. Would be worth trying sometime.
The Child of Lost I believe you just get damaged from walking into a (soontobe) mom flesh pod
Everyday going to sleep I start your videos damn can't fall asleep without now
- Has tons of bomb already in store at the end of Boss Rush
- Has tons of bombs lying around on the floor
- Has Guppy's Tail and zero keys
- Doesn't use Bombs are Key to get almost 40 keys and then pick up all the bombs lying around to have tons of both bombs and keys
You really should remember that whenever you have Guppy's Tail, any avenues to get a lot of keys should be made use of, especially on a daily where that could increase your score by a ton by the end.
Well, at least he realized it on the next floor... though there was still the matter of ignoring unknown pills on Boss Rush in fear of Telepills when he had already seen it so it would show up as identified and thus couldn't be an unknown one.

Daily runs are better than normal runs.
Normal NL commentary is funny, but there's nothing like NL talking seriously about the daily and his score while doing general NL insanity plays.
Wouldn't using bombs are key be a good play in boss rush before you picked up all the remaining bombs? This would give you a fair amount of both and would have given a lot more points if you happened to find a 2 of x. I'm also pretty sure that pageant boy gives you points since you get the money out of it

NL, after boss rush, you could have used "Bombs are key" and gotten 37 keys, then picked up all the like 20 some bombs on the ground, then you would have both.

On the topic of damage upgrades, I agree with NL that it seems he is getting less damage ups. Is this because Afterbirth + added only a small number of damage ups relative to the number of items added, which basically flooded the item pool with less useful items in terms of DPS?

I have a item idea, it's called "toy scissors". when picked up from an item pedestal it triples the amount of consumables dropped, found, earned from chests, but it cuts items in half(hence you have to pick up 2 consumables for it to count as one) so you can have 2.5 keys, 45.5 bombs, ect. it can stack thus cutting consumables in half each time and tripling the amount of consumables each time. the item can synergy with humbling bundle causing consumables to triple with no downside. what do you think about the item?

at least make sure you can't have.0.25 consumable otherwise you're just breaking the game, and give it like a 3 room charge at least

Momma mega didn't open boss rush, he just beat Mom before 20 min. He then went into the devil deal and it was past 20 min so it closed by itself.
Evan Puvalowski if you use mama mega it opens boss rush. Even if you are quick enough to naturally open it, if mama mega was used it is opened by mama mega. Last time when he went to the deal with the devil after useing mama mega for boss rush I couldn't believe he did it again, because he did that before...
What I dont know:
Run ends on mom's heart, can you get hush? no right?

that ivy guy It's not really a meme, just my opinion. I don't like Dailies for 2 reasons. By focusing on "Daily Strategy", I think NL doesn't get as much of a chance to give the same kind of wacky commentary he gives on normal runs. Secondly, Dailies require you to do the long boss fights (Boss Rush + Hush) when you aren't necessarily that strong and wouldn't have done them otherwise. I don't really enjoy watching boss rush or hush to begin with, but if our greasy egg lord is underpowered, that makes me want to watch even less. I like seeing NL play characters other than Eden, but for me, the daily format just isn't the best for TH-cam.
Daily hating is not a meme, I legit dreaded them in afterbirth. His commentary was always the same. It got a little better with AB+ and I can endure watching them, but I'd still prefer regular run commentary.

Isaac is a game that more people watch than play, seriously go check out the steam charts then compare it to one of Ryan's videos. all of you fuckers in the comments criticize him for his plays but statistically it's unlikely that you guys even play, much less do as well as he does. this comment section is so toxix.
