"Guaranteed to work every time, sometimes" I live this every time I try to do anything. Seems like I get to enjoy to other side of it "That never works, usually" as well though.
The safe place will get you every time!
If I ever remember where that safe place is, it'll be like a treasure chest of goodies
You got it man just 1 step at a time ......even though “TIME IS RELATIVE”😮😮 awesome video brotha!🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🤘
Good to see Squeaky back on the road. Glad it was just u-joint issues on the vibrations.
I'm a fan of the screwdriver method myself. I have a "special" screwdriver that hasn't actually been used as a screw driver for at least 15 yrs but has a perfect bend for getting around the shaft when pulling seals
Yeah, I would still like to find the puller I finally bought after using a screwdriver for 30 years
HowDoChad, Running a steel scatter shield is a smart thing to do, especially; Racing.Glad you found that crack in that bell housing, that wouldn't be good. Now that you changed the U joints, your practically ready to race my friend?Give em hell Buddy?🏁🏁🏁🏁👍R.C.✌️
Had to do the same on the front bearing on my 833 tranny for my bellhousing for my 360 for my old Demon. Good videos !!! Thx.
@@SquarebodyStuff You share good info. I have an 86 C20. Last year I rebuilt the 4.10 rearend, and took out the TH400 and put in a 700R4. Cruises great on the freeway now. Spent my kids inheritance and bought a GM Performance crate 350/357 the complete one. It's getting too cold to put the engine in right now. It's in the 30's here in CO. Like your projects.
I probably would have machined the bellhousing instead. Toyota makes the best rtv on the market.
😎🏁🤟🇺🇲
nice and useful video again, pal ! Did you check the torque or did your experience came into play when bolting down the pinion nut/yoke ? Not sure if you have a crush sleeve in. Worn ujoints are in most cases the culprit.
@@SquarebodyStuff same here with my Dana 35 pinion nut - until no play and then a tad more turn
Would reducing the gear weight be beneficial?
@Squarebody Stuff yeah. I believe you said you own a lathe. I'm talking about cutting weight off the side of each gear. lol speed holes if you're brave enough. Maybe get rid of 1st all together
Always happens safe place to never find it, and never when the camera is filming 🚒🍿
