Great, man! Some people tried to make the masjid more eco-friendly, more serene, more peaceful, more charitable to the community, more accomodating to women, children, families as well as non-Muslims, and all you had to do was to come up with this hadith to belittle their efforts! Can't you look beyond the words and see the intent!
It would probably save money from multiplt sources though.. electricity, water usage...etc so probably a good long term investment.. i dunno their breakeven plan honestly
I really admire the mosque idea and and it's sustainability but spending 23 million pounds is too much I think this money could have built 5 mosques or other facilities like school youth centres to have activities.
True but... Just wondering if we would say the same about the Blue Mosque in Istanbul or the Badshah mosque in Pakistan or any other world famous masjids around the World
@@ukmuslims that's my personal opinion as I live in the UK at the time of building this mosque also my profession is in finance and accounting I can imagine how much more potential that money had I was not alive when they built the blue mosque but maybe Muslims situation was different they where wealthier and more powerful today I can see how they suffering.
I think it would eventually cost the same with a normal mosque but with ongoing taxes for water use, electricity etc... when this mosque won't cost as such.. if water and electricity is self generated... its just my assumption i dont know the details :) but i like the eco friendly idea
