O, MY v"W"v Nothing makes me smile more than lil ones on the side of the road getting high 5s from the girls in the band:)) However, in this video, I saw some lil girls just itching to get a high 5, and, sadly, no one broke ranks to do that:(( Someone tell that new/youngish BD to designate one girl on each side of the band to break ranks and look for lil ones wanting a high 5 v"W"v . That will go a long way to getting a future recruit:)) AND, melt hearts around the world to see that kind act v"W"v

There are 3 of them, sisters, and they are just waiting till they grow up enough to try out for a place in KT. Each of them has musical talents and so passionate about KT that they follow them as much as they can. They even have their own KT uniforms at home. Look for their Dad's channel, "Orange Diablo" or is it "Diablo de Orange"? Won't be long and their dream may come true.

It's just a guess, but to care member's physical condition. This day was relatively warm in past several days. Unfortunately, two members took a break from PM parade.(maybe heatstroke) So, the event host shortened the parade route.

「京都橘高校吹奏楽部」に憧れて入部された皆さんおめでとうございます。先輩達と一緒に円陣を組みこれから始まる新ステージを体感されたのではないでしょうか。新入部員の皆さんこれから当分の間毎日、基礎的な練習が続くと思いますが先輩から伝統である舞踊の引継を頑張って修得して欲しいと思います。
そして、先輩や先生から愛情と厳しさをいっぱいもらってそして、一人前のオレンジ悪魔なり、3年生の定期演奏会が終了するまで継続して欲しい。他の高校では味わえない経験を積んで欲しいものです。京都橘高校吹奏楽部が例年参加する数々イベント、コンテスト等と、世界を知るDM&3年生と2年生と新入部員が全員参加での恒例の忙しい一年になるのでないかと推測しています。どうも現役は参加できないかも知れませんが、2020新年パサデナでは京都橘高校OG、OBの参加による京都選抜バンドによりローズパレードが予定されており、アメリカ観客を再び魅了して欲しいものです。「京都橘高校吹奏楽部」頑張れ！！

橘動画って中毒性が高くて世界中に寝不足の人増やしてると思います。
橘の花と笑顔溢れる素晴らしい映像ありがとうございます☺ 先頭と最後のイガグリ頭のガードマン二人も面白いですね！ そして、顧問の先生も変わりましたが、この116期にかけては大きな変化を感じます、上級生と下級生の表情が互いに柔らかく、仲の良さとほのぼのとした感じがします。以前が悪かったとの意味ではありませんが、この116期のDMさんは入学当初、あまりに厳しくて理不尽さもあった上下関係に悩まれたようですが、その体験もあってか、特にこの116期以降は凄く部員さんたちの雰囲気の良さを感じます。以前とは明らかに違いますね！ 見ている側にも伝わって来ます。
私は文字にすべきでは無いと控えていましたが同じ印象を受けました。
ただこれだけの結果を出すのがいかに大変なことか誰もが分かることですが、その為に先生方、各世代のDM、先輩方の責任感、ご苦労は大変なものでしょう、其れを十代の若さで引き継ぐことは名誉だけではありませんね。
ただ各世代の試行錯誤の中でも規律と自由のバランスが保たれて結果を出し続けてきたわけで、時代とともに育成についてもノウハウが蓄積されてその部分の負担はいくらか改善されてDMさんの人柄とも相まって雰囲気の変化が起きているかも知れないと愚考しております。
世代間の条件の違いがあったりしますので不当な比較になってはいけません、どの世代も楽しませて貰いましょう。

何人かの部員さんが全国から(関西以外から)来てると聞いたことありますけど、彼女がそのお一人なんですね！仰るように気合が違いますね。頼もしいです。橘に来てくれてカッコイイ演奏を聴かせてくれて嬉しいです♪
ユーフォニアムの生徒さんもそうなんですね！1年生もみなさん頑張っててますよね。ご家族の方々のご協力も大きいです。橘は観客の多さや動画の再生回数を見ても、日本一大勢の人々に演奏を聴いてもらえる吹奏楽部だと思います。そんな環境で演奏できる生徒さんたちはやりがいがあるでしょうね。苦しい時もあると思うけど充実した素晴らしい高校生活を送ってほしいなと思います♪

This day was relatively warm in past several days.
Unfortunately, two members took a break from PM parade.(maybe heatstroke)
So, the event host shortened the parade route.
