Fashioned after the classic service boot style, the Americana offers a timeless look on the HNW Last. This boot is built on the same last and has the same heel height as the Falcon. Features include a 6" height, a durable Vibram 430 sole, and a classic rounded toe!
While most boots are meant to be thrown away after a few months, Nicks are built to last. When your boots start to need some servicing, you can send them in to have them resoled or completely rebuilt! Nicks Handmade Boots are serviceable and last years longer than a mass-produced boot. Since 1964, Nicks has been making the highest quality boots on the market, right here in Spokane Washington. If you're tired of your old work boots wearing out, upgrade to Nicks and enjoy the most comfortable boots on the market.

Always enjoy a new video from Nicks, but does anyone else enjoy the older longer format showing the process in much more detail?
It’s old footage. The guy stitching the uppers doesn’t work at Nicks anymore.
@@EDHBlvd *Didn't know it was old footage, but how do you know he doesn't work there anymore?*
@@JinsKookieJams The guy left with Nicks General Manager to start a small leatherworks company a few months ago. I tried to reply with a link to their webstore about me, but my comment was taken down.
*13:05** The space between the white thread and the tread on the left, is more than on the right. I guess it won't have an effect on the performance of the boots? Just an observation. Otherwise, these boots look amazing! The Dublin leather is really cool especially with the contrast of the dark brown leather tongue gusset! Great work Nick's Boots!!*
I'm glad Dublin is back. That was on my list of leathers to get
*I looked up the Americana boots and looked at the list of leather styles. Dublin isn't back yet. So we'll wait and see. Also I saw a shorter version of this video that was posted back in 2022. Hopefully the Dublin leather style comes back! Try emailing them directly to find out for sure.*
*Also this is old footage. I saw this as a shorter video that was posted in 2022. So they reused the footage.*
Man I love 💕 Nicks BOOTS 👢
I’m curious why they don’t put a groove in the sole before stitching, so the thread doesn’t wear down as quickly?
*Yea I've been wondering about that myself. I've watched many cobbler TH-camrs, and they all have said making a channel does indeed prevent the stitch from wearing down so fast. I know they use a special stitch, that locks the sole and midsole to the boots in place, supposedly keeping them together. The thread is coated with an adhesive, so when they spray water on the Vibram sole, it activates the adhesive in the thread. The thread, nails, and the glue on the sole and midsole, keep it all tightly held together. But still, I do agree that a channel would further make the stitch last much longer. I've seen many boots before from other companies, with a channel in the sole. It makes a lot of sense to do it.*
Pure craftsmanship.
Love it when you make these vids
It’s old footage.
I like the natural sole better than dyed, but nonetheless, these are phenomenal boots.
*It doesn't mention it in the video description. Is Dublin back now for ordering?*
It was briefly, for a limited run.
Damn Man! God Bless America And Americana Boots.
Looks like an upper-class Redwing Iron Ranger.
EXACTLY.
Nice boots, but I would have gone with a natural finish on the heel stack. The dark doesn't match the lighter colored leather well.
In no time at all the natural will darken and it will match beautifully
Love these videos
I think the Americana would look even better with a half sole.
Where these boots a custom order? Just wondering cause the gusset was a different leather? I think these are my favorite Nicks build of boot. Thanks for the video.
Does this mean the Natural dublin orders will begin soon? 🤞
Mine did.
@@EDHBlvd mine did as well. 😁👍 Im stoked to see them bad boys!

@JinsKookieJams hey hey! Sorry for the confusion they did a limited run quick ship about a month back. 25 pairs. I was wondering if maybe this was one of the few.
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤ good for super 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What leather are these??
‘64 tan?
Natural Dublin, according to the description
So its not an actual toe cap? Just a decorative stitch?
It’s an actual toe cap.
At what point do they remove the nails?
They don’t, it’s part of their construction.
*Never. It's how the soles are held together to the boot. They're always like that 😊*
How to remove the nail....
*You can't. Nails are an essential part of the boot making process. The boots are slid onto a metal foot for lasting. When they hit the nail into the leather, the nails hit that metal foot they sit on. The ends of the nails curl into themselves, and back into the leather. This is how the pieces of the bottom of the foot hold strongly together besides using the glue. You won't feel the nails. They will always curl into themselves, so that they will never reach our feet. So don't worry 😊!*
@@JinsKookieJams Thanks for this answer. Turning nails into staples. Nice
@@JinsKookieJams thank you for your explanation
@@WhiskyMystery *Ha! That's a good way to think of it actually! You're welcome!*
what does it do you used at 7:27
*The black thing? That's a thin layer of black foam for comfort and to fill the small void there instead of cork. Both are completely fine to use. After that, a leather shank is added for arch support.*
@@JinsKookieJams It also prevents squeaking by putting a layer between layers of leather that would squeak if that layer was not there.
@@deejpax *Yup prevents that too!*
Nick's Boots are so insecure, they couldn't help me with a shoe last, to try make a pair of boots...... could understand, if i was a some sort of a competition with unlimited resources.... cause no business ever heard about China.... disappointing at least, but pathetic to be honest
*What were you trying to do with Nick's Boots? Place an order? You can email or call them up for help. Their boots are made to last for a long time. They're always made in the USA.*
@@JinsKookieJams make and wear them.... i was trying to make a pair myself out of love for the craft
Lovely boot,but no speed hooks?
You can order it with all eyes or speed hooks for the same price.
*You can special order boots with eyelets and speed hooks no worries 😊!*
