Also thanks to the whole cast involved in the making of this drama which turned out to be so amazing! Special thanks to the translators! All the cast looks good! The opening, OSTs and ending songs are nice to listen to! The main leads have good chemistry too! Hope they'll both get more pair roles together in future dramas! Didn't realise until I saw the comments that Wan Peng is also there in this drama, because she looked so mature and pretty in the first scene! Jie is so funny and adorable! Didn't know there was a competition for funeral techniques; love how they treat the corpses with care! Grandma Chen is so funny too! Happy to see Li Xian again, the person playing the role of Maidong!

When Cdramaland mostly churns out formulaic stories made up of pretty flower boys and girls, this series really selected the best actors to put life into the unique characters. Everyone did a fantastic job. What a story! To bring forth the lives of forgotten everyday people like that of a mortician or person with a disability, one can never get more raw than that. Add in elements of generational divide, social expectations, effects of migration, gender norms- the director has brilliantly melded all these conflicting values into the characters' stories set against the backdrop of a beautiful countryside. How can I forget the sizzling chemistry between the leads? I have seen the actors' pairings with other people from their previous works, but none of them gave the same amount of sexual tension as these two have. Great cinematography and OST. DEFINITELY ON MY REWATCH LIST (I only have 2 as of the moment, the other one being Meet Yourself).

A delightful drama with Li Xian and Zhou Yu Tong looking very very attractive to the eye and to each other. Top marks all round for a job well done.

Review: I'll give it 4.6/5 This drama was good. The chemistry between leads felt real (there was some misunderstandings but cleared up very quickly). Definitely a beautiful drama❤this drama was about life, death, love, hardships in reality, it also had a unique story (kinda rare for c drama to have unique story 😅) this drama has a pleasant ending. The audio quality was not that bad like there was little problem with some background music and have few voice cuts. Overall a nice drama I hope my review was helpful 😊 If u want any recommendations just comment with genre and suggest me some underrated or good drama you have watched
