You could journal in the morning of your day before if you can still bring all that up. If you find it just works better in the morning and you can’t find time at the end of the day
There's a book called The Artist's Way by Julie Cameron. If you're working the program you are supposed to write 3 Pages a day first thing in the morning. My thinking was you have nothing to say in the morning but the purpose of it is when you're emptying your brain, complaining and free associating, it's when you will get your inspiration. By making this time to do that, your book is open for words to form. It was a pretty famous program in the '80s, lots of famous people were doing it also to unblock inspiration.

I had single friends who were also doing it at the same time and they kept yelling at me it wasn't going to work. Could be. Now my oldest is 40 and I have yet to write that screenplay😉
I feel you on the groceries/meal planning... we are empty nesters now and only have us two and it's super hard!! My hubs doesn't mind leftovers and I can do that maybe once, but after that I"m out. so I feel you!

Hello. First time commenting on here but have watched many of your videos. I have tried the Hobonichi cousin for two years and it was just too much for me. I ended up going with the hobonichi day free and I love it!
Don't feel bad today is the first. And yesterday I finally decided my planner line up. So I just now ordered the planners I chose. I'm using undated a6 and the weeks hobonichi dupe from Amazon. I can't forget my a6 rings, that I still need to get the weekly inserts for. (I two printed the yearly from peanut co freebies.) And for the a6 rings I'm considering buying the Amazon hobonichi A5 dupe and taking it apart and punching for the rings cause I like the vertical lay out over all the ones I found on Etsy. One person has the exact layout but I didn't want to spend 24 dollars when I could buy the dupe for half that price.

If it was complete crap or shit write it in! I’m doing that as well. Not everything is rainbow, glitter, and unicorns. Not saying it’s ok to treat people poorly as that’s not what toxic positivity is about. I’m just explaining. When things are hard. It’s ok to acknowledge the hard parts. 🥂

Yes I’ve read it and tried morning pages. Wasn’t for me. Mornings are best spent for me quietly and making my to do lists.
