Clean, Tight and Powerful. Thanks Mate, we had a great time doing what we love, really appreciate you coming and spending some time with us. While this technology will not be for everyone, for anyone who loves the art of cinema understanding the extraordinary possibilities with dedicated home cinema is a must. Being the first public showroom in NSW to present Trinnov’s Waveforming was nerve racking but thanks to the guidance of Michael and Tom we managed to scrape together a system. I am still tweeting and testing the technology, anyone in NSW is welcome to come and experience, I might put on an open day one Saturday or Sunday, if there is interest? Thanks to all those who came and contributed to the fun.
Last night we had a similar Trinnov Waveforming event at Westcoast Hifi (Midland) in Perth/WA. Awesome night that was arranged by Scotty and his Team. Michael Cox and Tom Garrett were there in attendance, and it was great having informal chats with both guys over pizzas and beers. I definitely recommend attending their roadshow if you can get to it. The Waveforming demo was magic in Westcoast's dedicated main cinema room with a Krix MX-40 in the front, Krix 18" subs at the back and Krix Hyperphonix 45's on top/surrounds. John Wick explosions and shotguns never sounded so good! The bass is definitely tight, powerful and adds a significant punch to your body! Amazingly great and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. It really adds another dimension to the viewing and it's hard to explain to people, you just have to experience the thrilling joy!!! It's definitely like experiencing sound, movies and music for the first time. 😀 A big shoutout to Alex Blundell from Westcoast Hifi (Cannington) for being there and explaining a lot of the technology, setup configurations and room acoustics. The man is an amazing talent and if you want quality design, configuration and calibration - then he's your man! Thanks Tony for another great video!!!! Cheers, Simon
I went to the room in Perth this evening, sounded very good there. MX40 and Hyperphonix. Made sure I sat on the outside seat and sounded very good, clean and tight
Was a great session by Damo and the team in Brisbane, good to meet Michael in person after all these years on the Discord channel. Super impressive by Trinnov!
I went along to the Brisbane event at Living Sound. Was a great evening and some amazing demos. The shotguns in John Wick 3 just hit another level with the waveforming! Such clean, tight and powerful bass in the Tiesto atmos music track too! 😁
I have yet to hear the waveforming tech but essentially what I have got out of this video is that the better the sub can play the better the waveforming can be.
I think it should work with any subwoofer really - I am not an expert but if you match the subs and place them into the correct spec it should work well. Of course your comment is correct, but the same would go for cars, boats, trains, fridges... the better it is the better it would perform :D
Interesting, my Storm Audio Processor got a similar update to this tech just a few days ago! Seems to be the go now... P.S if your high or middle End room has muddiness then you're doing something wrong already!
Heard waveforming only at the high end Show in munich a few weeks ago, was a presentation from trinnov and perlisten. Not really the best way to show this off, i know, but it really wasnt impressive. Maybe a fine tuning thing but i would not hold out for it.
In Mick's setup it was awesome as it's a properly built dedicated home theater - so not a show room floor with all of the constraints - plus Krix speakers too, awesome sound and bass. Can't wait to implement it into my own room.
I listened to a Krix based system in the UK and the subs seemed to roll off about 25Hz. Did this system have the same issue ? WF was also on and it nailed seat to seat consistency.
Quite possibly, it's hard to say without knowing, but the demos ive experienced with multiple 18" Krix subwoofers, there is a lot of output, I don't feel like there is anything missing at all.
I enjoy watching the video clip. This only work on wall of sound ? I think amazing to watch a movie 🎬 like Godzilla vs Kong it would be great .Thank you

I wish I could have gone to that one too! Sounds like a great evening as well.

I went to the Brisbane presentation this week - extremely interesting and might need to sell one of the children to get the Trinnov
😜

Awesome video Tony, the fun of the night really shone through, well done!

Any word on when waveforming will be released to the general public?

Is this a 2-2 (1x2 in the front and 1x2 at the back wall) array system? If it is excited to see how I can get my theater eventually for WF.
I believe its 2-2. I am about to start on my own waveforming journey with 3+2 :D
Nice. I am hoping I can get 2-2 some day 😊

Clean, Tight, Powerful... Papa John's.
What’s a Papa John’s? Sounds like pizza maybe?
@@BuildMontage Depends on who you ask, tbh. lol
Great Theater tour, btw. ;)
Haha!!
Clean, tight powerful!😂
how much?
Waveforming is a free update for Trinnov owners.

Thanks Gary. You need a Trinnov and subs aligned in a special way to make it work. You don't just need Krix, any subwoofer brand can be used.
Thank you
