Now mind you I am a 52 year old VERY natural woman, my edges had started shedding from wigs, hard hats for work and I guess a little stress. Thank you so much for this tutorial. During this time I have had to get more creative with my hairstyles. I used to use a whole pack of marley hair and just do a big bun but this is way more realistic, manageable, and of course less hairpins lol.

Please show the exact hair you use for these styles. Marley hair in the DC metro area does not look like this. It’s fuzzy and dry. Even if you work with it, and moisturize it, it looks nothing like this.

My hair is thick and absorbs a lot of products easily...how can i get it sleek n thin to hold it into pony?
If it's thick you can't make it thin, but you can wet it prior to adding your moisturizer and styling gel. I style much better on wet hair.
