Thanks for taking the time to show us mere mortals, Jordy. This was well worth it, I would not have thought it would spin with the slight twist, but you did a grear job! Peace!
I like your finished product, well done. We make wind spinners at our Men's Shed in South Australia. We have found if we put an ordinary nut on first before cutting the thread, when you remove it, it will clean the thread ready for your lock nut to go on. Keep up the great videos.
Little tip when cutting off the all thread rod , put your washer and nut on first then cut it off..That way you want have hell trying to start the nut, and half to go grind the end on a bevel to start the nut..I like the tree..See Ya
Buddy, you even had your Christmas pants on too..... now that is getting into the spirit........ ha ha. ..... I saw your name come up on another forum, someone was recommending you to someone else saying you were the bees knees when it comes to carving faces........!!!
Hmmm .... Up in the air on this one Jordy,,, but it was good to hear your BS ... I missed it ,,, Spent the last week in the hospital without my youtube ...
😂 Your funny even when your not feeling well ! Great idea it puts a spin in Christmas decorations 😫 Will be trying the spinners soon I'm thinking of doing a parrot Too ambitious ? Look after yourself thanks for the laughs Luv Ya
I've got the "heavy hands" gene as well. It comes wit the side effect of you wearing whatever color paint you used in the last 3 days. Wood glue on the carpet (just bought that carpet, it's in my moms rented trailer)... Try, try, try again, it will follow you around. Having fun with the Foredom, only wrapped myself in it once and got 2 band-aids learning when cutters grab it DOES NOT stall out. It will rotate your world. Think I've learned due respect now. It's NOT a Dremel. It's like 500 of em, with an attitude. You have to keep the rpms up, even though your gut says lift, if you lift it will grab for sure. Have faith and keep the hammer down. And keep anything cloth a long ways from extreme bits. I had to get the bad-to-the-bone one (TX) with 1/3 hp, but I'm sure the SR would have been plenty just as everyone said. One thing is for sure, it'll run anything you can chuck in it - with authority. The question is, can the operator hang onto it? Nice Tree build, gotta make some, seems it's Christmasy already, but there's a ringing in my ears that won't go away.... Merry Christmas.
