Hong Kong Disneyland is one of the most underrated parks in the Disney Parks lineup. Although it still only has one park, and they couldn’t even expand their second gate because of the quarantine facilities; they still have managed to improve their rides, activities and shows to keep the park alive. World of Frozen is still a big hit, and Momentous is just outstanding and phenomenal. Besides, they have the one and only Mystic Manor, which is one of the top Disney dark rides! As always, what a great vlog of showing Hong Kong Disneyland’s glory✨✨ Great job Chris!
I think they made it into quarantine site because Dinsey did not purchase the land by the deadline, not the other way around. The HK gov reserved the land for Disney to purchase at $2.6 Billion (might have increased due to inflation) for 20 years since 1999, but because of the park's low attendance, Disney didn't feel like it was a worthy investment and did not get the land when the time come. So by 2020 when the offer expired, it was used for quarantine just because it was a huge empty land (extremely rare in HK). But these quarantine sites really are just glorified sheds that could be taken down easily in a week, and I think the fact that the HK gov did not turn the land into anything more substantial even after the deadline has passed shows their willingness to work with Disney still. So if Disney wants to build a second gate there, I don't think they would run into any problem (so fingers crossed!)
@@MaHelena The Hong Kong government has a greater power to make decisions that would impact the park’s future. For what I know now, the government doesn’t seem to care about the land anymore, and they are giving more effort on political and economic matters. They just put those facilities there, and they said that they may use them if a pandemic strikes the city again. I don’t know why they do that, but I definitely think that giving the land back to Disney is better than using it for the quarantine facilities.
I was feeling a little low after hearing some sad news - this was just the thing to lift my spirits. Thank you for sharing these wonderful memories. I’m totally digging the uplifting Christmas entertainment in front of the castle!

I was just going to comment this, it surprised me so much!!
Imaginerreing went with the Anaheim plan, instead of the world Plan. the castle received a major update during COVID., and became the "Princess Castle" before it looked like Anaheims.
I need to go to this park and Tokyo and will then have visited all the Disney parks in the world - can't wait to visit someday soon! The prices of food and snacks there is a bit eye opening!
I never realized the shows were in English. I'm glad the sweet potato ice-cream was good, it looks delicious!
Most things are Hong Kong Disneyland are in English to a certain degree. Hong Kong is the most accessible Disney Resort in Asia for English speakers in my opinion. I loved the sweet potato ice cream, I want more! Thank you for watching

Been binge watching your disney vlog ever since. All of the information I'm looking for are available in most of your vlog videos. Love your walk through and I'm so excited about my time in HK Disneyland this time since my last visit in 2017. Aside from the World of Frozen, I'm also looking forward to see the new Disney castle. I love hkdisneyland. It's not as big as the other parks but there's a satisfying feeling of being able to complete the park in one day.
Was not expecting to hear the theme from Happily Ever After in that Mickey show
Happily Ever After first appeared in this show in 2015 before it was at the Magic Kingdom! Fun little fact. The song is so good.

@@BondforgedSky Just like “It’s Wondrous” was written for California Disneyland and “Brand New Day” was written for Tokyo Disneyland’s 35th anniversary, “Happily Ever After” was written for Hong Kong Disneyland’s 10th anniversary back in 2015. I can see why Florida would use it though since it’s so good.

One of my favorite Memories of Hong Kong Disneyland was the "festival of Lion King" show. That was in 2011.

As a fellow Canadian, just wanted to drop by and say Hi and thank you for sharing all your theme park adventures. We love all the food and merch that you shared. Also, we were just at the HK disney 2 weeks ago. We saw almost everything except the Mickey Wondrous Book was closed. Guess it closes during the slower times right after Chinese New Year.

I went to HK Disneyland before COVID and loved it. I still think about the dried squid and bottled watermelon juice from the snack stands.
The watermelon juice is heavenly. I got some at the hotel.

Hong Kong is almost always more quiet than Tokyo. So you should be fine.
For HK Disneyland, do we need to download any apps to navigate around the park like the one in Tokyo?

Yeah, Hong Kong and Shanghai are quite pricy (closer to US Parks).

To be honest, I dont know why the filming and the upload time took 4 months. If one of the goal was to provide an update of HKDL, quite sad that this is 4 months outdated from filming to upload/release. I think you can do much better on content upload real time. Just saying. Still, I watched the video though.
