Those old stickers can still be used even if the sticky side is no longer sticky. I've had good luck with Krylon spray adhesive. Find the all-purpose 7010 brand. It's also acid free.
motufan1 Well, for me the fact that the glue has gotten too old is only half of the problem. The clear vinyl that the stickers are made of has completely fogged up, and they've lost their glossy sheen. Very ugly. Plus, they even shrink a bit!
