I think the gun will really help the game become less stale because right now the game is at a decline it really is starting to get boring, so adding a new gun will make the game fresh. So I think it is a 10/10 idea for me, a couple nerfs will be needed, but nerfing the gun into the ground is unnecessary.
Imagine a kj having one of these with an turret set up and the second the turret makes a sound they peak dealing 140 to the body and the turret deals the other 10.
it'd have to be substantially better than the marshall (ESPECIALLY because the Marshall is only 950 and the fire rate and no scope range is still busted) for its price to performance.
yep, and marshall in theory will be better than it against full buys due to the 1 tap headshot. And against no armour marshall also 1 taps to the body. I do feel like it can allow for some smart eco plays, where if you notice your opponents can buy but dont really have enough to get full shields, you might be able to farm with it.
The outlaw is better on anti eco than the marshal in theory because theres no way the enemy will have full shields on eco. They can have half. It will also force them to full eco because if they dont theres no way they will have full util and full shields the next round. If they force buy the outlaw will still one shot them to the body if they go like stinger + half shield. So its in theory better than the marshal.
I am in agreement I already pick up the marshal on anti eco and absolutely decimate full bought load outs the marshal is already incredible for anti eco the outlaw just makes it a little better but cost way more
They should add an option to upgrade from light shield to full shield with less cost.(600creds) as long as you are on 25 shield & you picked the light shield
Outlaw will make the enemy think of what they'll buy on eco rounds And what we can also buy on bonus rounds if we died I think 2nd round marshall meta will rise after outlaw update
it will force them to full eco on second round. because if they dont they wont have full shields and full util on 3rd round which will make the outlaw one shot them. If they force 2nd round the outlaw will still one shot them because theres no way to get a full shield force buy 2nd round.
Having a gun as a threat to the light shield is ok, but I think the randomness of Valorant is a good thing. It is really a CS mindset that wining pistol round will guarantee a few more wins. I like the way things play out in Valorant where things may go in any direction. I think a bit of randomness or uncertainty makes the game more exciting .
i completely agree. thats why i was addicted to customs when i played with big groups because games when played competitively but friendly can be so interesting because of the mixed ranks and sometimes someone could just pop off with a marshal or send it with a half shield bulldog and turn the tide of a game. thats why people watch the esports, not for consistency but instead for excitement of uncertainty
I FUCKING KNEW IT! For some reason, that art of the gun keeps showing up whenever my collection is loading in with a slow connection. I feel like it was a placeholder for some time.
Although is there a difference? So we go light shields because the opponents have a crack shot with a vandal. So we're gonna get one tapped anyway. Also, recently been using the bulldog more, since I like bullpup rifles. But people kept saying it was crap so I didn't initially use it. It is really accurate, I find it easier to headshot with it tan with the phantom and vandal. Maybe it's the protocol skin I have and the pink reticule, maybe I should swap my vandal back to Sakura.
Personally the way I'm thinking about this, it looks lever action but since the shorty was brought up, it might be break action load. So I think it might be like a marshal but you prime the shot with the lever but then it's a break action reload after every two shots. I guess what I'm getting at is a marshal with two barrels stacked and the bucky reload action That feels balanced in my head given the damage numbers
Blaze theory was probably mine from reddit and I've actually based it on the amount of usage in DayZ as well. It's a more skill friendly version of actually good snipers in the game like tundra or mosin. While yes those guns can kill in a single shot until roughly 600-800m depending on armor, blaze is (though highly inaccurate in range) often favored by many due to either giving you 2 chances to one hit headshot or just kill in a single shot if you're a noob/unable to find a better sniper. Double barrel hunting rifles are underrated in fps games and that's why I love DayZ. What i think will happen when it comes out: -Everyone will try it out -Pros will hate it because to someone with godly aim, marshall does the same for much cheaper -Radiant-Ascendant lobbies will enjoy it for a while -Diamond-Gold will also use but not as much -Smurfs gonna destroy people with it below silver elo -Irons wont even buy it besides trying it out lol Conclusion: a noob friendly gun will be used by mid-level players and will be disregarded by actual noobs for price and the cheaper option for high rank/pros
When they said it fires 2 bullets at a time, I thought it's like the Classic pistol alt-fire where it fires 3 bullets, but when they said "like the Shorty" wtf does that mean?
Team who lost the opening round would have a great round going in the 2nd round if they can buy the new gun. As the 2nd round is where light shields are commonly used
and the outlaw would also be strong to carry over to the bonus round because if the enemy doesnt full save on second then they wont have full shields buy without sacrificing util.
the outlaw is honestly just a bad idea being able to spam both shots at the same time doing 280 damage is just horrible can kill anyone even through a wall
To be honest, it’s gonna suck. On buy rounds, you will go rifle/op and in eco rounds you would prefer the marshal since outlaw is too expensive. It is not a buy round gun nor an eco round gun. It has no place in the game, the ONLY niche it will be is for versus light armor targets, which for 2400 gold sucks.
if you want something so the vandal is not the best weapon, it has to compete with it anyway, there is not much you can do agains 1hit headshot rifles besides fightning fire with fire, so nothing would change in the end.
finally the people that think they r smart for buying light shield in situations where there is no point for it and full shield is much better will just buy full shield as they should
so instead of toning down the meta or making the economy better, they're adding a weapon to deal with it? This hasn't worked in any shooter I've ever seen, it's only failed.
they need to just stop balancing around pro play, example viper is amazing with double smokes which is mostly played only in pro play but absolute trash as a solo smoker, they really need to eitehr make two patches or just stop balancing around pro play, the pros are literally the top .1 percent ffs
Valorante has really weird development philosophies for a competitive game. Prob wont touch this game until they stop adding weapons/heroes. I can't imagine it feeling to good to master a meta for a month only for all of your instincts to get thrown out in the trash because the game isn't finished. This game will probably be 10/10 when they stop adding content for money and just fine tune it for people to master.
It forces you to constantly adapt which is good for the most part in my opinion, I'd take that over having the same boring meta for 10ish years like in CS with small exceptions for UMP and SG 553 metas. The only real downside of this is some shit they release is broken, either too overpowered (like pre-nerf chamber) or useless (like deadlock and current chamber)
@@abs0lutezer045 That right there is the difference between games and sports. I prefer things I do competitively to be more of a sport. What? Gekko got a big buff with faster "flash" and way faster pick-up time for his Pokemons. Or do you mean that you wanna see him nerfed? Because he kinda needed some buffs and sits now at a pretty good spot but doesnt take other initiators' spot.
Yay a gun that does 140 body. Instead of just nerfing the op to do 149 body and dropping the price by 400-1000. Typical valorant gameplay. Reward those who just have money.
Rewarding people who have more money is the whole point. The more credits you have, the better the guns that will be available to you. The op is a powerful weapon but it’s extremely expensive so it’s definitely not broken
It'll add even more randomness, as economy stands right now you often have a choice of getting full shield but little to no util, or light shield but full util - and usually light shield + util is better, exception being eco's 'cause you don't want to get oneshot by classic right click/bucky/shorty/easilly sprayed with stinger.
