Historically, the obsession with shastras and kriya or karma kand has obscured the divine fragrance of Sanatan Dharma. Sadly, the shankracharyas missed this point and 1000 years of slavery was inevitable. Time to give each aspect its place in the lives of people. Hugely appreciate the insight.

WHY ??
That is right pronunciation. Only in hindi you don't speak fully the last word. The correct name is raama (not raam) in Sanskrit. Hindi speakers should understand this. Though writing is same (devanagari lipi) hindi is not original pronunciation. The correct pronunciation comes from Sanskrit and Sanskrit is taken as standard.

If living according to Sanatan Dharma could extend our lives to 200 years, how do people who are unaware of it survive? People have lived and are living without knowing this "eternal way of life." Rigveda records the sale of a son to be killed in a sacrifice, the mating of Brahma with his own daughter, offer of Yami to have a child by mating with her brother, killing and eating of cows in sacrifices. . . . . the eternal way of life? The great Rishis of Rigveda did not even know about the planets which can be observed with bare eyes let alone the cosmos.

Please learn vedas under a Guru and then talk. Vedas use the words like cow, horse, fire etc to mean various things as per the context which can only be gleaned only from the advice of the wise.
For example, the word "go" may mean Cow, sun ray, light, wisdom and even Upanishad.
So please don't go by the unintended textual meaning as per your preconceived biases against vedas, but be humble and approach a Guru to understand them without using your finite intellect. Just set aside your intellect and contemplate with humility on the meaning of every rucha

Under which Guru you have learnt Vedas? Can you tell me if Rigveda mentions the planets and by what names?
