Kiev has been yelling for western fighter aircraft ever since the war entered its expanded phase 2½ years ago - the reason being, of course, that Russia smashed out much of the Ukri Air Force during the first week of the war. There have been many promises and pledges of leasing or giving aircraft - but almost without exception, those premises have been bogged down in endless feet-dragging, procrastinations and sometimes plainly reversals (Poland has pulled back twice on promises to offer aircraft to Ukraine). The reason for this, although nobody wants to say it openly, is that fighter aircraft are offensive armament in a whole different way than short-range Javelin missiles or howitzers - and the accepted view over the last hundred years is that once you share/lease offensive armament to a country involved in a war, and it gets used by them, then you're definitely an active partner in the war yourself: you become a belligerent. The West wanted to keep up the pretence that "no, NO, we're not at war with Russia!" so aircraft became an extremely touchy question.

Easy answer: Russia signs on 30k troops a month. The loss ratio is 1:5 with the Kiev regime loosing about 2000 militants a day now, or 60k troops a month.
Gerasimov planned for 30 months in June 2022 and seems pretty much on time. A complex system never degrades linearly but through a collapse function. Internally complex systems can compensate major pressure for quite some time. But that comes at structural costs. Once a certain internal reconfiguration is achieved, the structure cannot support anymore pressure and suddenly collapses. That is the point we are waiting for. Currently the best estimates are September 24.
Looking back in history Napoleon's army was the most advanced in 1812 and Hitler had again the most advanced army in 1941 and still Russia brought both to collapse. The price for this in 1812 was high but Russia came all the way to conquer Paris on March 31st 1814.
The cost in 1941-1945 was immense however Russia/USSR utterly destroyed Nazi Germany and burnt down Berlin in April 1945.
Russia is the largest country on the planet and has immense resources.
It has won the economic war against the US empire, the political one and the military one grinding down the 3rd NATO army in the Ukraine.
WIth 60k losses a month the Ukraine can only last another 90 days before they simply have run out of militants and that is September.
Russia has 730'000 in the SMO of which only 50% or less are active. The Galicians have around 350'000 active of which only 50% are motivated and capable. So normalized ca 275'000 motivated and capable.
However the Ukraine has only 25% or less of the material RF have in the SMO.
Russia grows with 5% GDP and the Ukraine is broke, has no energy and on top of being the most corrupt country is the most dysfunctional and that was in 2021.
Probabilty that the SMO's main action is over by October is 90%.

Since China had partially owned a number of big industries in Ukraine before the war started. Also, it was importing a lot of resources from Ukraine. Also, I dont see how India wouldn't benefit the most since India is playing both sides and is the one country buying more oil from Russia than China is. Also, India is not only getting the best deals from Russia but also has made a lot of lucrative deals with western corporations to build industries in India.

Just because US hegemony is declining, I don't see China's power growing inconsequence, because although China has the second largest GDP, but it doesn't have the consumer's market. Meaning, the average Chinese doesn't have the purchasing power of manufactured goods from other countries, so other countries depend on China for sustaining their economy, which is the strength US has. The whole world sees US foreign policy with disdain, but we stay silent, because they buy our stuff, which puts food on our table. And China has no soft power, we don't listen to their music, we don't watch their movies, and as society and culture, they have little chance of advancing beyond what's already been achieved by western civilization (yes, China was once a great civilization but that was hundreds of years ago). And social progress comes from new ideas from people, and without freedom of expression is that possible? In the near future, as we advance in AI and robotics, being a big country will no longer matter in military powers or in economy, the future will no longer be about how big you are, it's going to be more about how smart you are. I'm just content watching US and China just beating each other up and grow weaker, while the rest of the world have the space to grow stronger.

@@jtruman48....sounds like Trump's getting bad foreign policy advice again. I read the proposal, had a good laugh, as will the Russians. It's delusional....a complete nonstarter.

Winning too slowly is what happens when 'supporters' don't make a full, immediate and complete commitment. I feel sorry for Ukraine, they have been strung along losing personnel every day which is something that can't go on forever. But hey, we'll give you what we think you need, when we think you need it providing you don't indulge in complete warfare against Russia. Geez, with 'supporters' like that who needs enemies. Then, to complete this bizarre picture, if you lose we'll blame you.
