I remember this well! Had been a Creighton fan since early 2014 and it felt like a long time coming, but to finally see Greg McDermott’s Bluejays team win a Big East title of some sort! It felt like a huge relief as a Creighton fan because they came so close so many times, only to lose a big game down the stretch! This was also right after 2020 and so seeing my Jays finally win a big game like this was something amazing to celebrate.
