Why not try mixing the activator with each color separately and the right before you put it in then you twist them together??
I came to this section with the intention of making this same comment. I think the activator would only be efficient as a last stop if you’re trying to mix colors.
Alright: the time of mixing two separate colors surely makes it harder to mix them separately and then combine them

I think you'd probably need another person to help so each of you could mix a color with the activator at the same time, considering how fast it starts to cure

I think if you want tie-dye red/yellow, you'll need to premeasure half the amount of red, half of yellow, then quickly mix each one separately with half a measurement of activator before you BARELY swirl them and shove it in the mould.
When working with mould you always get that extra material on the edges where the parts of the mould connect. You can try shaving them off with a box cutter. For the mix colors effect, try mixing the colors with the light... stuff very quickly and then just twist them together and put them in the extruder.

You have to mix the activator with each color first then mixed the activated colors together until swirled and put in the molds.
I think the small measurement next to the bigger one you are using is to mix the Color and the white in half measurements then twist!

you have to mix the separate colors with the activator then mix them together but not fully together to get the Tye-dye look

Ohh it would be so cool to save some of these for the Halloween treat bags !! Also i think that the marbled ones are made by mixing half of the activator with half of one of the colors and then the other two halfs, and finally lightly mix the two parts before putting it in the plunger

Im guessing to tie dyeyou have to put the different colors into the mold separately in layers. Like instead of mixing them before adding you add some of one color then some of another color then some of another color etc.

You did this one so good. I don’t know if there would be enough time but I think you’d have to mix each color with the activator then slightly mix the colors for a tie dye effects.

You could just put a little of white in the bowl in a little little bit of white mold, and then you could put a little bit of the different colors and Mixels not together but next time with the white, then you can switch them around and it would work

I used to collect cute erasers!
You probably have to use half activator for one color then the other half for another color and THEN make it swirl for the tie dye

The way you would swirl or "tie dye" two or more colors is to mix your final colors with the activator separately - so measure out your blue and your red and measure out two parts of the activator equivalent to them, then mix one color in each hand at the same time or have a friend mix one color and you mix the other, or mix one after the other very, very quickly, then twist the two colors and shove down the tube to fill the mold. You could also mix three or more colors if you get the measurements right and can work each part fast enough before having to fill it in the mold. Also, obviously you can mix your primary colors to make the secondary colors first and use any combination and number of colors that you want before activating them and putting them into the mold.
i love this thing but i dont use anymore pencils. i use friction eraser pens so useless.

I don't use pencils. After erasing your friction pens do you ever swipe away the eraser part then realize it's a pen not pencil. Still do it to this day.

Sorry but I think that's an awful lot of work for the result that bunny got. They were all very messy looking and for what that cost to me it's a definite pass. I expect good quality from Crayola. We also have to remember these kits are made for children not for adults. A child would have a very difficult time working with that. Then they don't erase.😢
I think for children the "three minutes" can be a really frustrating challenge?
